I did this work from 1981 till 1999..shiny metal balls on the semiconductors means a 98 percent chance it overheated, exceeded current, then you would find an internal open or short. Usually open. Smell that mosfet
Thanks for sharing your knowledge 👍

Good work.
Thanks.
If it over heated, I wonder if coolant splashed all over it. I looked up online of location of ecm on 2006 Dodge Ram Cummings.
They say it's right side of engine comartment by the wheel well. So I guess it's possible.
Good job sir
I work in laptop maintenance, and I often receive a car control unit, but I refuse it because I cannot find diagrams for it.
My question to you is where can I find diagrams for the internal circuits, even just one diagram to train on?
there are none available really. you have to make your own records and schematics for the internal circuits.

I sent a message via your website contact form and haven’t heard anything back. I’m trying to get keys made for a VW beetle. When I try to pay, it’s telling me something wrong with verification code? Not sure what I’m doing wrong.
sounds like your missing the google "I am not a robot" verification on the check out page. If your having trouble seeing it maybe try a different browser or you could also use ebay: ebay.us/MqnDK2
ECU repair seems like fairly niche and complicated work. What made you get into doing it?
Just kind of happened from lack of affordable parts trying to get my customers going (I started out as a mobile auto locksmith & module flasher).
