Finally a good reviewer reviews the xpander
A lot of people are complaining about the power output, without even knowing that the mitsubishi adventure only has 74hp and 149 nm of torque, yes its a diesel but it weighs 1.5 tons, and it still gets the job done.

Thanks for a great review. Additional info, there's a compartment also underneath the passenger seat by the front. Likewise, an adult could fit at the back area because the second row seats can be adjusted forward direction.

I like the xpander. I've seen it personally and it looks futuristic and luxurious. However, there is no automatic climate control like what you can find in a mirage and a montero.

Interesting, in Phillipines Expander have defogger on rear window. In Indonesia Expander 2017 doesn't have defogger. Hope to get same thing as on this video for next release end 2018/2019 in my country.

Considering this thing have a lot of passenger, should it have a reasonable high amounts of power? Can it still perform under heavy loads and going uphill and still drivable downhill????

regarding sa fuel efficient the reviewer should load max amount of passenger to realized how much fuel consumption is taken. you should base your fuel consumption on maximum number of people riding on it. that shoul do it.
I hope, The expander comes to Europe. It’s a very nice car.
Should have tested power with full 7 normal weight passengers. It really makes a difference especially with that low amount of horsepower.

try other variant of xpander, try the Glx Mt and what are the diffirences between The GLx and the GLs.
The only negative in the xpander is it doesn't have a high security system like security alarms and all that other stuff

Thank you for this review. Made me decide to go for the new Suzuki Vitara instead. It just packs more features for the price close to this variant. I give the Xpander props for the looks though, but that’s the only + factor of this car for me.
kenotastic I am also evaluating the Vitara last week as it comes with a better specs and standard features including the big sun roof, big screen android system and all leather seats. However, I may favor the xpander overall as it comes with a higher ground clearance, rear air conditioning, multiple usb/power outlets which the vitara has only two, and the convenience and availability of the 3rd row seats.
I drove my officemates' Vitara and I noticed it lacks punch considering it has 1.6L engine and I need to know the exact timing while driving in order to maximize its engine. Maybe because of fuel what she is using. Another to consider is that you should invest in dark tint for its sunroof and sound deadening. Peace!
kenotastic Vitara back in 2015 it was 1.2m now only 1m for the top spec. Guest the old model was a bad choice.
The only thing I hate about the Xpander is its all plastic interior. I know it isnt a luxury car but at least put synthetic leather on

Front totally looks like the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross. Just the front. The rest including the interior are both different.
I hope mitsubishi put a center armrest at the Xpander and i hope they made the parking brake short or an electric parking brake with auto-hold at every variant and i hopr they put some controls for the fanspeed, and tempeture, and i hope they may change the single zone manual climate control to a single zone automatic climate control and they should remove the key they said this key will make the stick shift move the small hole at the side of the gear selector. I hope mitsubishi may fix this issue. Thanks

yup same here, If we can only opt for GLS sport features without body kit.
Good review sir but I totally disagree with the overtaking, Xpander can easily overtake when you turn the OD (overdrive) to off which is like a turbo... I know because I have Xpander GLS.

OD should be use only for overtaking or during incline.
Over Drive is nothing like a turbo. OD just keeps the car from gearing up until late in the rev band.

I prefer Foton Toplander 2.8 liter Cummins 171HP and 360N-m Diesel Turbo + 6 gear AT. The Xpander and Rush has low power 104HP for 7 seaters? Pag nilagyan mo nang tao sa loob takbong pagong paakyat or hirap sa overtake yan.

mas gusto ko review nito dahil kumpleto. nakakatulong sa nagbabalak bumili. hindi ktulad ng iba ayon sa opinyon nila ang review at dinadaan pa sa antics nila. eto walang bias. pinagpipilian ko kung anong sasakyan bibilhin ko, kung xpander ba o rush o brv...or kung mas malaki gaya ng fortuner o montero, or budget avanza o crossovers. etong video na ito nireview talaga ang kotse hindi "compare" kainis yung nagcomment na "lacking" daw itong review at gusto nya yung pacomedy kung magreview. thank you

I already know this car is better than Rush (its bcoz i see more Xpanders on the road instead of Rush). But is this worth it over the Nissan Juke or a Civic for its 105 hp engine and FWD?
Mitsubishi introduced it at a very competitive price, but now they have raised it, so it start at around the same level as the Rush. They are actually very different. Rush is a body on frame with high ground clearence, so it can handle some pretty bad roads. The Xpander is on a car platform and therefore more comfortable on good paved roads. So it really depends, where you are going to drive.
i like this one compare to rush..... malaki ang space sa likod .. pwede maka karga ng at least sampong sakong kape, sa rush maliit hindi ma fold ang seat

put the mitsubishi 4N13 mivec( 1.8 liter diesel 150ps) on this car and it will be a massive for mitsubishi.

Good info, but why when you are speaking while inside the car, you're not looking at the camera at the time when you're not driving? Who are you looking at? Other people who are shooting the vid with you?
That is the way you can engage to US viewers, look at the camera when you speak and not look at the "dummy" or "idiot" board so you can engage to your viewers.

sabi nila matulin ang Rush, oww sa top speed mataas ang rush pero pagdating sa Freeway mula Dao hanggang Urdaneta, Pangasinan di na makahabol ang Rush di niya kaya yung top speed niya kasi manginginig at matagtag na para kang nakasakay ng military truck. Samantala yung Xpander ay smooth pa rin siya kahit sa rough road kasi medyo mababa siya sa Rush pero mas malapad ang Xpander kaya hindi delikado sa mga kurbada

Wow 8 to 9kms/liter in city driving. Not bad

23 km/L thats probably highway with a light traffic.

thats what im saying because here in the Philippines most people drive on a heavy traffic situations so for people like me i would always find the city driving fuel consumption first before highway fuel consumption because usually in highway situation every new car gets 15 km/L or higher easy.. sure 23km/L is impressive on highway but 8-9km/L city is avarage, heck even my 2001 corolla easily gets 8km/L city driving.
Randolf Delos Reyes i think older cars like that 2001 corolla even though the engine is not yet high tech but the weight of it is light? Thats why its able to get 8km/l in city driving. But for the xpander, body is heavy with its small 1.5 engine and 4 speed automatic and able to get 8 to 9kms/l in heavy traffic. Thats already impressive compared to our neighbors 2009 1.5 automatic avanza which only gets 6 to 7km/l.

1977eniale GLS sport has ASC or active stability control and hill start assist. It also has the air dampersin front and skirts around the body which makes it look sportier.
