@@Josh.Sanderson to be honest im more intresred in open diff because i want to see how it slides 😁, but im also intrested in looking how a welded does 👍🏻
Love this. I daily a 91. It's a Pre LCI, SE, Sparkling Graphite, them dodgy black leather seats without a bolster that send you missing across the cabin when you show it anything resembling a corner. The most impoverished spec you could imagine, looks like every 318d shitbox parked in front of a school at 8:57am. Beat up a bit around the edges, cleans up alright when I can be arsed. All of that said, all I wanted was the M57 with a manual and the car was looked after. I'm mapped at around 300, Eibach Pro springs, Pipercross, Proxes sports on the style 161's, Brembos and a gnarly short tow bar that I'm sure acts as some sort of pendulum. Drives alright considering the weight up front but the thing is absolutely hilarious in the wet. I cane it everywhere, laughing my arse off.
Love it yeah you develop strong shoulders and arms trying to stay on the drivers seat, how do you find the eibach springs? I bought stance plus ultras but they’re shocking the springs are so soft it bottoms out not even close to the lowest adjustment
@@Josh.Sanderson I think the part number is E10-20-014-04-22, but double check. They're 30/25mm so can run with OEM shocks and they're still better than any coilovers close to their money, IMO. Bilstein run them on the B12.

I just love the idea of an unsuspicious Estate E91 drifting around the city! it makes me smile Got an 8 speed F31 b47 318d but way underpower to powerslide it on dry surfaces :( maybe in the rain..
Haha it this same spot we stopped for a break in a local car park and police tactical operations car came in and asked if we were racing, I looked at my estate dad wagon, laughed and said no I’m not racing. He smiled and drove off lol. Carried on drifting afterwards. Never suspected of anything in this car I love it
@@Josh.Sanderson here is just worse, pretty much in every city Fiat are 7 out of 10 cars, the rest is old VW group or Korean shit. In the southern part of the country no car culture at all, here they worship Soccer and not much more other than that. In italy taxes will kill you if you get a car with over 300bhp, you can easily arrive to pay 20 euros per kW per year (just do the math in order to own a Modern M3, M5) And also insurance prices are not a joke Especially if you live in high risk places like Naples, or big cities like Rome If you just love cars and OWNING COOL CARS, Italy is no longer the place for you. This isn’t me and I would never condone it… however I would tell you to practice in BIG EMPTY spaces with nothing to crash into. Once you’re comfortable with that you can start practicing different corners etc… you will spin out etc but it’s better doing it in a car park or field instead of a lamppost. I’m below beginner I would say so Im only doing transitions in empty spaces or on track soon
As it's been said just go for simulator before drifting irl. It's safer and really fun to learn and then tandem with some people in lobbies on games like Assetto Corsa. After you know how to drift really well just try out with a real car.
@@dylanlerian5960 I second this, most of my practice is done on a sim, it transfers to a real well incredibly naturally it’s just an open diff that makes things a little less predictable
The 6 zylinder e90s got an electronic limited slip diff from factory. So its not really open. An for the 4 bangers you can code the Elsd in 🙂 I did it for my e91 320d and it slides perfect
@@Baoul1234 from my understanding all it does is apply brakes to the spinning wheel to gain traction back faster but this only works when you have traction control on. Could be wrong though
@@Josh.Sanderson if you have tc fully turned off then it brakes the inner wheel a little bit so both wheels can spin and then you can drift. Not as good as a Welded diff or a normal lsd but its okay. Only the first gear is shit idk why bmw made it so that the elsd doesnt work in 1 gear. Its almost like the car needs to think about it for a Second and then it lets you drift haha
Would you guys prefer this video with/without quiet music??? ❤
Maybe parts with and parts without

I would preffer with quiet music from car stereo. Just for atmosphere ☺️
