Wow! My friends just did the hike and at the end we saw a family with three little kids and I didn’t believe they could have done the whole hike with the little ones, but now I believe it! Great job Mike and both of you, thanks so much for the video :D If i get the chance I’ll definitely give that crossing a shot next time:) Also you’re such great encouraging parents:)

You just inspired me! This summer we are doing lots of walks with our 3 yr olds in preparations too for doing the ultimate hike of Tongariro crossing and Taranaki that is also the reason i found your videos. Thanks for this its very helpful 🤩🤩

please anyone who goes hiking in nz always take warm clothing and wet weather gear and food joining a local hikeing club is always a good idea
