Who could ask for anything more? Indeed you are blessed to be having such fun. (all legal and moral also) Thanks for sharing your treasures. Good time.
Definitely more than one needs, but I am both thankful and appreciative. The strangest horn I have is the Olds Recording trumpet, I think. It’s not bright, nor dark, just a sweet sounding horn. I’m still trying to decide how to make the most of its attributes; which mouthpiece, etc. :) Always nice to hear from you.
Pablo; Greetings. The Olds are all very nice horns. The Recording is indeed a very fine horn. I feel lucky to have each of them. :) Thanks for commenting!
Wow, how to part with any of them, you did a great job with them all. To me, the Benge hit the tones so melodically, a greater brilliant sound than the rest. The Olds family are so mellow and Mendez would be my second choice, but the little shepherd crook trumpet was just right there, I could tell you could really take off with that one! The one I would keep so far is.... Drum roll.... The same one you would keep!! :) Thank you for your delightful reviews!!
Glad you enjoyed it, Tab. The Benge is a great horn, really. The Olds Recording is different; haven't figured it out totally. The Ambassador is a really good horn... I'm very fortunate. :)
I MUST spend more time with that Recording trumpet. Amd I like my Recording cornet too. I have it now but didn't have it when I made this particular video.
Johnathan, I love the Cannonball, it sounds rich w/ a nice ring to it! Very Pro. Also, I would keep all the Olds horns. I did not care for the Conn., it sounded a little dead. No opinion on Carol Brass. The King was enjoyably different with sparkle . Obviously, you would want to keep Puje for something different . The Benge, nice but not even close to the Cannonball! .....I hope my opinion helps you , but everyone's ears are different!... Love your new mic alot! I need to get one.
Chuck; Thanks - I do appreciate your input. Believe it or not, I was in an accident late last year, I turned away from the collision, air bags deployed, and I've lost considerable hearing in my left ear. I've noticed on a few vids (playing with music) that I was flat (I could tell afterwards, but not while playing). Very scary, but age and accidents do catch up with us. Anyway - thanks for your input. :)
Decisions, decisions! I bet you're definitely keeping the Puje! Did you know Brent is having a submit a trumpet video contest to give away a free Puje v4! Check out his RUclips channel if you haven't already. Another great review, Jonathan!
Very little. I had one, a Martin Handcraft, I believe, one of the very worst horns I've ever had. :) The good ones are good, but I heard a top pro once say 'one can play 100 Martins before finding that good one.'. I've tried to buy a few, but only if I could play them first. :)

very cool, Jon. thanks -I had no idea. I do majorly enjoy my Puje; it shan’t be for sale anytime soon. :)
Hi John, quick question. Are you familiar with Martin horns?
Very little. I had one, a Martin Handcraft, I believe, one of the very worst horns I've ever had. :) The good ones are good, but I heard a top pro once say 'one can play 100 Martins before finding that good one.'. I've tried to buy a few, but only if I could play them first. :)
Martin horns seem played to death therefore few good representative examples.
