Great plant suggestions. I have great luck with both the philodendron and pothos with my pacman frogs. I also use the snake plant into both a drier environment like a bearded dragon and more humid environments with success in both.
Thanks for watching Casey!! Philodendrons & pothos are the best, really bullet proof 😂 And that’s awesome to hear, I haven’t tried the snake plant in an arid environment but I may try to get some smaller ones for the sand geckos now!
Do you have any issues with the snake plants getting too tall? I've considered putting them in my ball python's terrarium but am worried they would outgrow it.
Becca!! Nice to hear from you!!!! Hope you’ve been doing well. They definitely can get too tall in the long run but in my experience they are super slow growers and will probably last a good 2 years before outgrowing a ball python vivarium! I’m sure there are ways to trim them aswell I just haven’t had too yet!!
how to ensure that the plants do not have pesticides and are safe? I always buy them in reptile stores to be sure! also, do you have a brand of top soil that is safe other than zoomed, exoterra?
Good question!! You can ask somebody that works at the greenhouses but just to be safe always assume that the plants are not safe! I change out the soil & do a bleach dip as soon as the plants are home and then quarantine for a while before I plant them in a terrarium!!
Great idea!! Ficus Benjamina Ficus Pumila Philodendrons (many different varieties) Photos ( I usually use marbeled or gold but many different varieties too) Diffenbachia sanserveria I’ll put them in the video description too!
Awesome tour loved it ❤
Thanks for watching! ❤️

Awesome greenhouses. Still refreshing my bioactive enclosures and now tempted to start over. 🤦😂
It’s always a constant cycle 😂 I don’t think I’m ever truly happy with how my tanks look lol. Hope you’re doing well Mikey!
