I think that the concepts of Beards and PR relationships are very different and I don't think they should have included any that could have been considered Beards. In my experience being the Beard there is its own love. There is an emotional connection, kinship, & kind of intimacy. There are also a lot of understandings that many outside the relationship don't know. She may have gotten the money on paper, but who is to say she didn't give some to the partner (maybe she didn't, maybe we do know one way or the other I'm not a Queen fanatic idk the history) however, my point is, I know that A LOT of the time there is a ton that the Beard knows, understands and is okay with that the public wouldn't understand and vice versa. Like with the burial, the partner may know as well and let the public think only she knows. It may be their shared secret. I think that the concepts of Beards and PR relationships are very different and I don't think they should have included any Beards. In my experience as the Beard there is its own love, emotional connection, kinship, & kind of intimacy. There are also a lot of understandings that many outside the relationship don't know. These individuals might not have a "real relationship" to some in the way they think because it doesn't include s3x with each other but if you're going to start dictating what a relationship is because of how much and who the people sleep with then you're going to get into some tricky territory nowadays.

I think that the concepts of Beards and PR relationships are very different and I don't think they should have included any Beards. In my experience as the Beard there is its own love, emotional connection, kinship, & kind of intimacy. There are also a lot of understandings that many outside the relationship don't know. These individuals might not have a "real relationship" to some in the way they think because it doesn't include s3x with each other but if you're going to start dictating what a relationship is because of how much and who the people sleep with then you're going to get into some tricky territory nowadays.
Rock Hudson was well-known for using women to appear straight, if he'd been outed back in those days his career in movies would have been over.
