I 100% feel the same about rooms in my house will happily clean the living room because it's recently been decorated but I can't stand cleaning other rooms. Also 6 pics on that wall would be lovely ❤

The ikea shoe storage cabinets are good, but we don’t have a space for them in ours so we have a plastic shoe storage hanger on the back of our understairs cupboard door. I just cut it to size and our every day shoes hang in there xx

I can totally relate to you on the whole cleaning a room that’s been freshly done. I’m the same I enjoy cleaning the rooms that have more recently been decorated or have new furniture plants etc and I don’t particularly enjoy cleaning the rooms that need decorating. I’m bored of the grey now too so I’ve just done my bedroom pink & Egyptian cotton, the hall stairs & landing is Egyptian cotton and the front room room will be Egyptian cotton, pink & gold , all my house is gonna be Egyptian cotton because it’s a nice clean colour and will be easier for touch ups and the only rooms that have colour is the kids bedrooms .. pink for the girls & grey & navy blue for the boys .. I want everything neutral & bright x

Hi Chev, love your videos and have watched them since you were in your flat ! Idea for your downstairs' loo : have a look at the William Morris Strawberry Thief wallpaper.. for one wall and you could paint your little cupboard in a contrasting /matching colour 🥰 and get some coloured hand towels ( Matalan and Dunelm are really good for these ) . So lovely to see you back and hope you are doing well . I have the same grey mop as you 😂 Same at our house at the moment. We've redecorated living room , back room and bedroom all since Xmas before Xmas we did daughters bedroom and bathroom. We've got to replace carpet in living room and our bedroom xxx
All our shoes go back up stairs in the wardrobes. We have a unit from ikea that we keep 1 pair of shoes in each 😂 no more lol xx

Definitely start with the downstairs toilet. Mine like yours has no window and I hate that about it. We half tiled and added a big feature mirror. It’s been decorated twice since with just changed to paint ( moving away from grey 🫣) and a new mirror. Wish I was brave enough to have feature wall paper but will look forward to seeing yours ☺️

Our everyday shoes go in a storage unit next to our door so they are tidied away but can be whipped out as we go out of the door. Shoes that used less often are stored at the base of our wardrobe tidily so they can be got out for special occasions :)
I have an understairs cupboard that houses all of our coats and shoes. There's three of us (myself, partner and my Son) and we have multiple hooks for coats and three large shelves for shoes x

Look at ikea shoe storage cabinets they would fit along that wall and they are slim - you can paint them
Love your front room, but black curtains would look nice with your cream sofas and black frames. Hope you are well xx
Where you have the small unit for shoes, I would put an ikea Pax slim wardrobe (H201cm, W50cm, D35cm) and have lots of shelves in it.. You would be able to store lots of shoes in that!! ❤ x
With shoes and coats in our house each member is allowed one coat each at a time hung in the hall any others have to be hung in their room. Shoe wise I have one of those ikea kallax 4 cube units and I got everyone gets a box each. They have to put their shoes away every day unless they are wet and if they start to overflow it’s time to sort them out and some go in their wardrobes again xx
I think you could do with a pamper session a day just for you, no housework, no stress ❤
😅 I know but I always choose cleaning and stress before having a day of rest 🙈 to be fair I don’t clean all day I just potter 🥰😘💖 xxx
I have a 4 box kallax unit under the stairs. We all have a box each for every day shoes. I keep my best trainers, uggs etc in my wardrobe. My daughter keeps her uggs and bedt trainers in her bedroom . All my partners fit in his box under the stairs and so do my little boys xx

Do you have space for a slim wardrobe to fit coats and shoes in your hallway? If it's just shoes, a kallax box definitely.
In the toilet you could go for a nice green with gold accessories or like a nice art deco style paper. With panelling? Or matt black accessories. Xx
Nah Chevonne, those plastic balls would have left my home by now 🤣🤣🤣. Those pull up plastic shoe storage stacks on TikTok look good and reviews say they fit more than 1 pair in a box! But shoes in general always outgrow the space you find for them. I also have rooms I don’t enjoy cleaning. There’s no wow factor when you’re done. Keep we’ll take care 😘
What if you fit like a shallow pax wardrobe in the downstairs loo. Floor to ceiling storage for shoes, coats etc. You might have the space for it xx
I have all my shoes that I don’t wear as often in plastic drawers in my wardrobe keeps them neat, clean & organised - then I have a ottoman downstairs where we sling our everyday shoes in and it has a lid on it so you don’t see them. Easy and accessible and looks tidy - Works really well maybe give that a try 💜💜 bless you hope that helps xxxx

Ive seen these things advertised on insta abit like a speed mop but its just for getting out crap from under sofas and things hope you and baby are fine now the shoe thing i have one of them big plastic things with the drawers in it and also a tall plastic washing basket all under the stairs out of sight lol xx
I store the kids shoes just in a plastic under my stairs it do be havoc but I can’t see them so I don’t care haha I store my own then In a blanket box at the end of my bed xxx
I put everyone's shoes in their rooms in the cupboard/wardrobe 👍

Personally i stayed away from grey and bling i think they are cold and NOT welcoming im more into the homely naturals creams greens coffee sone black if u stick with a basic colour ie cream/beige u can change cushion covers rugs throws accirdung to the seasons ur living roon is lovely but i would take away the white accessories and add in sone colour and honestly u will see a big difference just a thought xxx

My son is a carpenter and he did loads of panelling on his clients' rooms last year on his jobs... now his clients are fed up with it and want it removed ! Trends come and go I suppose ❤😊 xx
