    You have to be a bit crazy to be a champion/great player. The huge resemblance between Jordan and Kobe is not necessarily about the number of rings, awards, stats etc, instead it's their discipline, competitiveness to be the best at what they do, and killer instinct to win. They demanded perfection from their teammates as well. I think all those factors are what separate the 2 from every NBA player they competed with. That's why these 2 players are championship winners.

    The only reason Kobe didn't have more or at least a similar amount of ring with Jordan is 1, Jordan had a better understanding when it comes to teamwork whereas Kobe only learnt that in the later stages of his carreer and 2 when Kobe had learnt about teamwork, his teammates are all Shaqtin' Hofers until Pau...

    • @sportkriminalist
      @sportkriminalist 8 лет назад +8

      +Christian 0000 He had a poor shooting percentage because he is a shooting guard that plays for 20 years. The percentage doesn't matter actually if it wins you games. But I was talking more of his development as a team player over the years.

    There are many reasons why Kobe is the best, but here's one: Even after retirement, he's still waking up at 4-5AM and getting his workouts in...you can bring up stats, rings, etc. Kobe had true love and passion for the game and for all out rise and grind hard work. Even when he was winning rings in June, he was back in the gym 2 weeks later putting in work like he had just lost the finals. Work ethic. period.

    Kobe is my fav player, has always been.
    But we shouldn't talk about work here, those guys are professional players and their passion is basketball, thats what's they love to do the most so shooting the ball 400 times shouldn't be qualified as work or duty, it is a pleasure to shoot the ball for them.
    Still it does take some commitment but it's not like forcing yourself to do something you don't like.
