That was so straightforward even I could fit them. In fact I'll order some even though I don't have a Bobber....
"Tantrums and swearing".
I keep these aides to reluctant motorcycle components in the tray with WD40. The detailing polishes and products in another tray with the tube of elbow grease. Tappet clearances can be stored in a self-seal bag but being both invisible and volatile they're difficult to locate and tend to disperse without any encouragement. Therefore I make new ones each time using feeler gauges.
Good morning Uncle Stu!
Morning Stewart. Going back just a few years before my mate passed with cancer. I can still remember hims saying how he wished stuff like this was available to him when he customising motorcycles! I think they seem to suite the look of the bike. Safe riding till next time sir 👍😊.
Beautiful bike. And the 'green' sticker is brilliant.
The smart move for Motone, would be to develop a Morris Minor style Trafficator for the Bobber. Thus would then pop out when indicating, and like the Morris Minor version, would pop back in again when cancelling the indicator. The front of the bike is then free of giraffe horns.
As someone not at all techy, I tend to take a before. Multiple in-between and final photos.
Liking the project Stu.
You've been showing up in my feed again this week. Seems to be working again.
Fitted these to the Interceptor recently, a fantastic upgrade.
You ride is shaping up nicely.
Cheers.
Bought and fitted these per your instructions. Went without a hitch and took me about 30 minutes. They look and work great. Thanks Stuart!
Great video, been waiting like a coiled spring for this series to start. 👍😁
Hope you enjoy it!
Yesterday I received the last of my "Stu Kit," - Bilt Hamber double speed wax and Silkolene. The DHL driver and I are getting along well. Thanks for sharing ...
Thanks!
Thank You Philip!
Hi Stuart
I always use Teflon white spray grease on my electric connectors,it’s a brilliant it helps with disconnecting plus stops any future corrosion but it will actually caphilarate up the actual wiring loom..
Thank fir this video
Those triumph bobbers look brill,I must demo one..
Wow, caphilarate, brilliant word, then you make a typo with “for”. Just had to say,
Brilliant video as always Stuart and those are mighty fine indicators indeed 😃👍🏻
I usually don't like tiny indicators, but I can't argue with your point on original bobbers not having them at all. They look like they put out a lot of light on the video. I think I would need to see them in person during daylight to make up my mind. Nice tutorial!
Stuart is the chris Harris of the motorcycle world
Thanks for the diligent info brother !
Not a massive fan of the micro indicator, but I am impressed with these ones they look decent and obviously will be quality from Motone ,great vid Stu looking forward to the next Bobber episode 👍🏻
Appreciate all the logistics, research and discipline that goes into producing your vlog, Stuart. (I also enjoy the subtle reminder that the english language contains more word choices than just ...'umm,' 'you know' and 'like.' 😂)
Excited to see how the rear turns out!
What an improvement! But again, those OEM ones...not so difficult to improve! What were Triumph thinking?
Thank you mr Fillingham
Like it, metal mudguards back and front now . I did wonder if you could have fitted the mudguard by fitting the front stay to the rear fork bolts and vice versa so they crossed over each other to lower it but you did a grand job in modifying the stays. Looking forward to seeing the rear mudguard re worked. 👍
Looks great.
Great improvement, although not saying much the originals are purely function over form...
Good Morning Stu, l feel so jealous...l will tell you why. A few months ago you commented about the fitting of aftermarket accessories and the possible legislation stopping such modifications. Here in Spain it's already in force by way of the ITV, Spains MOT system. A few months ago a took my Street Triple to be tested. Knowing the 'Slip on exhaust' would fail...(no Cat)..l removed it. Arrived at ITV station, tester noted my 'tail tidy' That was the end of the test!...l returned home to replace it with the original... The point of this story is that fitting any kind of Mod is fraught with the danger of it being rejected unless it is an official manufactures part. Even then it's possible to fall foul. l remove the seat cowl for the same reason.... just in case!
Nice one Stuart, definitely look better than Triumphs effort....
Mmmm that green❤
Thanks uncle Stu. My 1150GSA had typically tidy wiring twenty years ago, after much amateur maintenance and upgrades by a typical British rider I can happily report it is now a stuffed in there ratsnest. #keepbritishratsnests ;)
Uncle Stu throwing a wobbly - how can this be? 😀
Send a link to our friend in real life Richard Vobes. He now has 160 K subscribers and has interviewed many like minded bodys. Geoff Buys Cars went down to see him. Another is Funky Prepper who has a great following.
Love what you are doing.
David and Lily. Petrol car of course now 15 years old.
Nice bike
Looks way better, but I feel like they still stick out to far. They are bright enough to still be very visible and would look way better tucked in another inch.
Micro blinkers. But they are bright! 🔆
I am vary of these small blinkers. A friend of mine has them in his bike and when I was driving with him they were very hard to notice in clear daylight. They may be bright but because of their size they can "disappear" under the noise of everything else that is moving in your eyes. I almost missed a turn because I did not notice he was blinking before the big break lights turned on. 😅
@@MaaZeus I buy my bikes and don't change much. I will add storage or tank protectors and that's about it. I agree with visibility of micro indicators, I want others to see my intentions, and those do not look to well for sending a message.
Please can you do a review about how to fit that Motone Side Stand Extension, I particularly liked the wood finish option. Thank you Stu.
already done years ago! 😉
Morning Stuart, happily buy some sticker as soon as they are available and full support against the Westminster worms 😂 great video and suprised at the way the Triumph wiring is such a rats nest. Great looking indicators and very professional finish with this kit 👍ride safe and will look forward to seeing you fit the rear indicators 👌🏍🏁
Triumph are not what they pretend to be, They have had a number of safety recalls over dangerous wiring. Sticker design can be downloaded free in video description.
@@stuartfillingham Thank you Stuart and will be downloading a picture of Mr Khan's smug head to go on my puch bag in the garage 😂 I'm sure the Royal Enfield' wiring is much neater as is my XJR1300 👍 ride safe and look forward to you next notification which I'm pleased to say still getting 😊🏍🏁
l have to say I've never had any complaint about the way my Street Triple has been assembled, however l do like to personalise my bike. I'm in process of fitting Triumph Scrolling LED indicators, that in my opinion, like those featured look neater than the originals. Here's hoping that the minute Triumph motive lasered into them will be enough to pass future testing...
👍
Unsure if this has been mentioned, looks a lot like my Scram…😉
Hi Stu, they look great! Roughly how much were they?
Link in description.
Looking good Stu👍.
I tried sending your last video to Richard Vobes but he didn't follow it up.
Just watching a podcast with Piers Morgan and Ben Shapiro.
They state the Woke worm is turning.
I'm thinking your worm has turned is brilliant.
Im going to be the fly in the ointment here , nice indicators but awful adaptors , far too big !
knock me up a pair that meet legislative distance requirement's and will interface with the OEM footprint then!
@stuartfillingham I was thinking more like the clampits they've done before for the 41mm forks , just a bit more inconspicuous !
Sod that for a game of soldiers, can't see me going through all that palaver, anyways up, call me weird but, I prefer the origionals😊
Why watch a custom conversion video then? enquiring minds want to know!
@@stuartfillingham Because, Stuart my lad, I watch all your videos 😉
Stick some Harley forks on it.
