Nice Chris! You noticed the heavier than normal music at the end. This is a subliminal nod to Capt Chris Camps and his wife, Jen, and their love for metal! Crank it up! Always catering to the guest guide.
Capt Blair how are you man I haven't been able to see your fishing show in a while glad your still out there catching all those big Mogen fish big guy keep doing what your doing brother good to see your show again tight lines man
Amazing that Tarpon slurped down a bunch of Greenies on one hook. Goes to show they just want an easy meal. My PB Tarpon was on a frozen Sardine soaking in the surf. Go figure Great action Cap!!
@@addictivefishing the drag looked like it needed grease. Weird the drag sounds more like a Baitcaster. Lol. But a little grease on the washers should smooth it. I have bought some reels the drag wasn't smooth. Just greased it and it was fine.
Capt. Blair, it would be perfect if you would do a video specifically for DOA lures. Like all the different fish you can catch on one DOA lure before you move on to the next lure. Kinda like a breakdown of all different lures for different species of fish on different locations and environments. Like an educational video. Two videos. One for offshore and one for inshore.
@@addictivefishing Wow! Thank you so much! You have no idea probably but this little gesture from you is a huge thing for a guy who had dreamt of working with or getting to fish with as a kid growing up. The dream still lives on. Can't wait for the video 😁
Hey Captain Blair! Love the show, hope it's around for another twenty years (or more). I want to commend you on really giving your RUclips audience a sneak peek this year, it's been an awesome ride. I have a suggestion, when you get a chance you should do a collaboration with Monster Mike, I know you did a show with Peacocks and Clowns already but I think if you went on his channel it would be good for your RUclips channel and his, a real win-win.
we have those hound fish in California i cought a huge one with your old 7,2 Wright McGill set up while fishing are jettys for smaller calicos this thing hits a lil 3inch swimbaits and just started going nuts he was at least 9 pounds idk how big they get here or if they are different than yours in Florida.
Love that place, so much life in that water. Best place for somebody who doesn’t have a boat or a Kayak like me. I love the show by the way, keep those videos coming 💪🏽
Totally agree! This reel did not make the cut but I like the handle. Was hoping to get that monster tarpon on the reel I was using but it didn't happen.
Indeed the drag on this prototype was not the Reel Symphony it should have been but Tucker is also correct in that the first run did include some violent heads shakes. Aside from the drag (which might just need some new washers), the reel was well balanced and the handle probably one of the best I've used.
It's always a pleasure to fish and film with the AF Crew!!
Likewise El Capitan Camps!
Captain Chris Camps hey, the down trees on the beach. Is that on Egmont Key itself ? If not where is it ?
You’re the king, Blair! Best fishing show on planet earth.
That is one tuff fish to catch. I love the Tarpon. They are a great sport fish. They will humble the most experienced angler.
Never get tired of your show Blair, love the variety.
Can’t wait for the new offshore speed sticks to arrive in stores. Capt. Blair your the man. Hope your knee recovery goes well. Tightlines buddy.
Thanks Mikey. Offshore sticks should be in stores very soon.
It's a lot of fun catching those small fish. Doesn't always have to be the mogan to have fun. Great episode Capt.
Loved that tarpon fightin’ action. And the metal music on the end credits rocked bro!! Nice music.

I love watching your videos. I always learn something about fishing. Thanks for creating this adventure!
Thanks for watching.
Great show....keep em coming Capt.....

Great action Cap!!
lazy fish!
My playground. Nothing like it!
Great footage as always; was just down there, had a fantastic trip with Blackneck Adventures.
Last episode that new reel sounded like a sowing machine. Now its quiet lol. I like a singing drag lol. Has a great look to it. I like the round knob.
2 different reels - I like the handle on this reel but not the drag.
@@addictivefishing the drag looked like it needed grease. Weird the drag sounds more like a Baitcaster. Lol. But a little grease on the washers should smooth it. I have bought some reels the drag wasn't smooth. Just greased it and it was fine.
That reel didn't pass the drag test. I was hoping to get hooked up on the reel I was using but it didn't happen.
@@addictivefishing that sucks. Thats the thing with prototypes they need work lol.
Every reel should come with that knob handle!
Awesome video yet again...anytime you need an extra in the boat let me know! ;) I look great in a Lew's hat.
Awesome vid. Seems like the snook population is doing well in St Pete!
Beach snook are doing very well. Inshore snook are on the rebound too.
Great video I loved it!!!

Hy man I'm a fan of your fishing video
When was this filmed ? Another great episode as usual. Still waiting for those rods to hit stores.
Filmed last month. M2 rods should be in stores soon.
Addictive Fishing the new reels as well, you mentioned they are still prototype? Lew’s inshore just a new model?
Inshore speed spin reels are in stores now.- go.magik.ly/ml/cu91/ My new offshore reels are still being tested.
Addictive Fishing thanks. Any guess when we will see those coming out?
Not sure yet . . . Lew's is a quality company so they won't hit store shelves until the designers are happy!
Love my 8ft lews rod for wade fishing 🎣
the meat stick is a beast!
Love tarpon they are either jumpers or dumpers
Which Skeeter is this? Can it run offshore on the right day? Looking at getting one
SX230 . . . it can handle anything you got!
woohooo! first comment love this channel!!!
I broke one of my eagle claw casting rods the other day .. when are the lews casting rods coming out so I can replace it 🤔
Should be hitting stores any day.
Addictive Fishing thank goodness 😬👍🏼
What's the name of the rod you caught the tarpon on?
What rods are you using with the solid grip
My new offshore speed sticks by Lew's. They should be in stores soon.
Nice. Thanks Blair
You caught that bait at Fort de Soto, right?
yes

That's the "didn't know the camera was on me look?"
lol, that's probably after the camera guy said, "look over there"
Who baitfishes tarpon?
Everyone I know in Tampa.
I'm located in Orlando
I'm located in Plant City.
a blair u have a tv Show to
Yes, I've had a TV show for 19 years and now I have a RUclips show too!
Can’t lie this dude looks like gordan Ramsey
There needs to be work done on the drag of that "prototype reel" its VERY VERY choppy. I'm surprised that fish stayed buttoned. (First fish)
The Reel Symphony that wasn’t the drag being “choppy” 🤦🏼♂️. That was the tarpon shaking his head and jumping/rolling around.
Totally agree! This reel did not make the cut but I like the handle. Was hoping to get that monster tarpon on the reel I was using but it didn't happen.
No, the drag was a bit choppy on this reel.
