Hi again Georg, reaching Khiva was for me the highlight of my trip through Central Asia. It was, in your own words, like being in another planet, back in time. Unfortunately, the exchange rate had been ammended in the last months and there was no more black market when I visited in May/June 2018. Still, a memorable visit. I wish to go again. Best regards and thank you for your efforts, for sharing your experiences and your good quality videos. N.
Hey, thanks for your comment and sorry for my late reply. How was the exchange rate when you where there? A truly magical place :) Thank you :) Take care!
Yes! I'm finally almost caught up on all your videos. The last couple of videos in Turkmenistan were intense. As you may know, I started watching them before but wanted to start at the beginning and didn't see Ep. 36 or 37 till today T_T I digress, Khiva looks stunning and this was probably my favourite video so far (next to your videos in Iran). Amazing, Georg! Your editting skills also... please teach me :)
Hey there, I always try to learn at least the basics, like hello, thank you and goodbye. Other than that, basic english is often ok, if that doesnt help, then Ill use my hands and feet. And keeping a smile on your face also makes communicating easier. As a guest I try my best to adapt to the local customs!

Hey Georg! How do you communicate with the locals? Are there customs you follow, and do you always learn all their languages to talk to them?
