Priscilla, thank you for sharing the truth with us. Also, thank you for being a beaming example of modesty for Christian women. You are covered in dignity and you look beautiful while doing it. What an example. Thank you.

More than 30 years of following Christ and I'm still learning how to do this. So many times I have thought I've mastered it, and then I'm given new opportunity to try again.
@@sunflower5741 do you know the story in Mark 9 where Jesus asks a man if he believes? The man's response is, "yes Lord I believe, help my unbelief". I have prayed a similar thing for forgiveness: Lord I forgive them, help my unforgiveness. I just let Him know that I want to forgive, but I don't know how. He withholds no good thing. So just keep asking. ❤️❤️
Can you imagine the first word out of Jesus’ mouth was,”forgive them, for they know not what they do!” He is the best example of what it is, even with all that He had been through!♥️this topic!
how do we know that those who abuse us don;t know what they're doing, though? Like HOW? It;s kind of hard to say something when you're not even sure.... :/
I have to add this to my Great Sermon Playlist. This is the most concise teaching on forgiveness or maybe my heart has been primed and ready to receive this message after some prayer and fasting. This is good and Lord bless these women for being obedient. God is Faithful Still.
I love the truth and transparency of them all. We know what the word of God commands and requires of us and we do great until... We don't. I am sooo thankful everyday for God's grace and mercy. Father help us to FORGIVE others as you Forgive us daily. I love you and truly want to be in your perfect and divine will.
I loved what Elaine added at the end about not necessarily reconciling. Also, for much of my life I denied myself the process required to get to forgiveness. I stuffed my feelings of anger and hurt, which made me a pressure cooker, ready to burst. I've realized that the God given emotion of anger is ok, as long as I don't act upon it inappropriately. For me, when I have been hurt I have to go through this process, similar to grief. I'm constantly working on staying connected to my Father, praying and expressing my hurt and even rage, asking him to change my heart. Sometimes forgiveness comes quickly but most of the time not. Regardless, it comes and I get to the place God wants me ❤.

This is what I needed. My sister hasn't spoken to me in months for something I said and I have since apologized but she has not spoken to me. She says she's at peace with it but as I listened to this conversation, it's like we are settling with this "poison" and it's killing both of us... I'm hurting knowing that I have a sister who treats me like a stranger. PLEASE 🙏 pray for resolution
@AM I understand your pain, I was in a same situation with a sister and to tell from novwhere she decided to call me and now our relationship is becoming better, Pray my dear, God will see us through,
I honestly feel y'all peep into my life before sharing a video! How do y'all know what I exactly need at the moment! "Praying in obedience so God can change not just them but my heart as well". God bless you @BetterTogether Tv.
I needed this message because I am struggling forgiving my narcissistic husband who has traumatized our family for years. Yet I am choosing to forgive him although I haven't completely so I can released from this bondage of anger, disappointment and sadness. Thank you women of God for opening my eyes and heart to embracing God's way instead of my emotions. Shalom!!!!
@@shm7669 no you cannot. I really believe they have a childhood wound that allows the enemy to enter in. They were taught both that they are amazing special people and at the same time (usually by the other parent) that they are worthless and bad. So they try to bury the worthless kid inside and believe they are smarter, better and basically a god. Narcissist’s do not admit wrong or go for counseling. So if they don’t believe they need to change they never will. The issue is that they are abusive. Until you set strong boundaries and get away nothing will change. You absolutely are called to forgive and pray for them but you may need to separate for your own peace.
Lack of forgiveness doesn't only affect the spiritual it also affects the emotional and mental. It affects all depths of the mind and heart. It is so important to let things go. I say it's hard because God is putting me through the fire to let go and wait in God
This is so Good!!! It will help so many people who are drinking the poison of unforgiveness. I was so Blessed by this. I Thank God that through the Holy Spirit i was able to truly forgive. Thank you all for allowing the Spirit to lead you in sharing this. God Bless
Amen, I feel God talking to me for I just woke up from a bad dream about a loved one who's treated me so bad and I've struggled forgiving this person. 2 days ago I confronted the same person and even mentioned how I'm disappointed. Thank you Crystal for what you said " unforgiveness can be poisonous . I have seen the route of this, it's made me so bitter against my own sister but I choose to be obedient, let Go and Let God. Elaine Fisher is right in that sometimes an act of kindness can be praying for them. The Bible even says to pray for those who despitefully use you in Luke 6:38. And that is a verse that Victoria Osteen was mentioning. There are times when people are hurtful towards you. And it may not be the best idea to be around them. But you can forgive them, lift them up in prayer and make a choice not to speak negatively about them. From personal experience I can say that those things may not be the easiest things to do. But they are the best things to do for them and for yourself.
I pray that someday I will be a part of this team, I love better together🤗, Priscilla I love how you allow God to use you, you are my biggest inspiration, I pray that someday I will get to meet you in person. Amen.
Thank you so much Better Together for this message. Please I have a few questions... 1. How do you forgive when the other is not asking or even sorry for what they did? 2. Is it bad when you remember the things they did? Or sometimes talk about these hurtful things when they pop up? 3. How can you really overcome that pain. I try to forgive but after I remember the wrong and still feel hurt so much.

AMEN. THIS IS A REALLY BLESSED DISCUSSION, MESSAGE, AND VIDEO LADIES. THANKS FOR SHARING. THIS REALLY BLESSED ME. MANY BLESSINGS UPON, BLESSINGS UPON, BLESSINGS TO EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU, IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH.
We also need to recognize that the Holy Spirit may advise us to connect/reconcile with someone. Because HE knows their heart and intentions towards you, and that they can end up being violent towards you. Or choose to continue to fight and argue with you constantly as an attempt to steal your joy, peace, sanity, and distract you from your assignment from GOD. And that they will not change, so as she mentioned showing love through prayer for them, and speaking the word of GOD from a distance. Maybe the only way that you can go.

Oooof, Jesus set the bar so high on this one. It's definitely difficult to forgive and it's hard when that person continues to rattle on in their wicked ways. I don't know how long it will take especially when that person is stuck in their ways. I cannot be around this narcissist because it's dangerous. Any pointers there?

Bitterness is a sign of resentment which is anger and judgment.
Anger moves out when Love moves in.
You can’t be of both.
