It will be on till next Monday. The court gives defendants the option of going to an appeal. If he doesn't appeal, then the stay comes off on Monday. He will likely appeal to SCOTUS. That's his MO, appeal appeal appeal.
Even better is the realisation that Trump hasn't yet filed any appeal on that case - as he is unable to do so unless he pays 20% of the order into court. The court got it right this time. I think the legal terminology made it very difficult for them to alter the law this time. Nobody is saying if the Election Interference case is still on stay? Can Judge Chutkan start her jury process now? This is the most important case in America, and any other case(s) should be pushed so this goes forward. We want a decision before September, for those with mail in ballots.
It will be on till next Monday. The court gives defendants the option of going to an appeal. If he doesn't appeal, then the stay comes off on Monday. He will likely appeal to SCOTUS. That's his MO, appeal appeal appeal.

Even better is the realisation that Trump hasn't yet filed any appeal on that case - as he is unable to do so unless he pays 20% of the order into court. It looks like he may miss the deadline and there are severe penalties for that, including the court placing liens on his property to force the money out of him!

The court got it right this time. I think the legal terminology made it very difficult for them to alter the law this time. Time will tell if they can regain any of the respect they had before they spit in the faces of those who fought so hard for rights, only to be overturned. They are in deep need of some un-bias moral structure.
