  • All residents deserve to feel at home wherever they are located. That involves ensuring they have the right to eat, bathe, feel safe, and taken care of. Residents should also be allowed to visit their loved ones when it is convenient. If loved ones notice that the resident is withdrawn or acting differently than usual, this is a good indication that something might be occurring at the facility or community they reside in.
That is when an elder care law representative can be contacted to step in. At Miller Elder Law, we create a care plan in order to discuss what is going on with the client. If the family is not locally available, we will step into the care plan ourselves to try to understand what is going on and relay any information we discover. If we do discover something is amiss with the client, we will come up with a solution so that they are properly taken care of.
