Now, it's possible that something was installed incorrectly in setting up your connectivity. I strongly suggest visiting your local dealer so he can have a look. With 20s as already posted. Connect Nav to SENA with GPS pairing (see SENA instructions) and pair SENA to TFT using smartphone pairing. Pair phone to TFT. DO NOT DO ANY OTHER PAIRINGS. Always turn on SENA before bike and it all works. My bike software was updated this week which lost all settings. It took about 30 seconds to do the above before leaving dealer and everything works as it should every time. I can listen to media and instructions from Nav and BMW app interrupt as they should. Phone calls work as does bike to bike.

I would ask, if you can, to provide video and written instructions (step by step) on how to pair: the TFT PANEL BMW R1250 GS + Navigator VI + iPhone X + Sena 20S Evo + APP BMW Motorrad Connected. You need to clear out how to connect a smartphone, a helmet (or two), nav6 and GS connectivity module. I am mean to say... If you pair your helmet to smartphone but not GS connectivity, what do you lose? Why pair connectivity module with helmets instead of just the phones? You can still hear the voice prompts and answer calls etc. Do we need to delete helmets from the smartphones and just connect the helmets to connectivity module? How about the communication between helmets? If we pair both with connectivity module, does the module handle the connection between the helmets INSTEAD of the helmets themselves? These are things to clear out.

After restart of my motorbike f850gs BMW Connectivity foregot my phone. It's normal situation? For example I rode to a shop, stopped. Went to the shop. Back and start my motorbike and motorbike foregot my phone Samsung Note 10.
I was in the BMW workshop and they updated the software of the bike. Also, I updated the software of the Bluetooth SENA (New 10S) and I updated the software of my new iPhone 11 Pro. None of this has helped. The Favorites option still does not appear in the Telephone Menu.
Hello friends. I have a 2020 R 1250 GS. The TFT screen is correctly connected to my iPhone and my SENA 10S Intercom. However, in the Telephone Menu: The Phone Book and Call List appear correctly but FAVORITES do not appear. This makes making a call very cumbersome because the contact list is very large.
I was able to pair my phone and my helmet blueetooth,, I was able to make few calls and receive... But I can not reproduce music... when I open the menu only shows track unknow 00:00 I can not reproduce, or change to another track.... I tried openning my google play music app on my phone but got the same results... Somebody knows if this app is compatible with BMW connectivity... Or which app you using on android moviles ? Thanks,
A mi me pasaba lo mismo, tuve que borrar todas las conexiones en la pantalla TFT, también borrar todo en el Inter comunicador. Después empezar de cero. No se debe conectar el Inter comunicador del casco al teléfono, únicamente se debe conectar el teléfono al TFT, después el casco se conecta al TFT, la forma correcta de conectar el casco al TFT es con “Phone pairing” como si fueras a conectar el casco a un teléfono pero ese teléfono es el TFT, si conectas el casco al teléfono y también lo conectas al TFT pasan problemas.

Pairing the 2022 S1000RR (US version) doesn't work with any of my mobile devices (two android phones, one iphone, and one android tablet), all of which I have successfully paired to other devices and non-BMW vehicles. It never gets past "Searching for devices...".
@@SuperSnallygaster Is the bike new? Someone on s1000rrforum told me about the relevance of lemon laws. You need to find what they are for your state. In my state, after three repair attempts, you can write BMW (not email, it must be a mailed letter) and they are obligated by law to fix it by whatever means necessary in under a month. That is probably what I will end up doing. Assuming defective hardware and not a design flaw, what needs to be replaced is the entire dash/display.

Do you have any idea why I can't establish connection to the helmet ? It finds the device and there is a message "Establishing connection..." and the bluetooth icon is blinking but 30 seconds later there is a message that connection can not be established.
I connected the ihone successfully, it works, I can listen spotfy (premium) music on the audio system, but it stops playing after each track. Does anybody has this experience / solution? It did not do this earlier with thre previous bike.
this is a disgrace. It only works on current models and it requires BMW com equipment apparently. It is only 2 minutes long. you figure it out. There are a hundred videos from users. My bMW dealer says you cannot get a phone, helmet, TFT and NAV6 to work together. period. BMW says they have no corporate technical people. Which is obviously a lie. Like nobody knew what was going on in Dachau (I was there).
My helmet keeps disappearing from the list of paired helmets on my R1250GSA. I have a BMW GS helmet with a BMW communication system installed on the helmet and so far i've had to pair the helmet 4 times (and I only got the bike last month). Does anyone know how to solve this issue?
My phone never pairs - the "connections" setting is either greyed-out or, if not, it never detects a phone to pair with. Dealer can't seem to figure out the problem. Any ideas?
Please advise how I can trouble shoot the following issues with my BMW Helmet System 7 and TFT screen on my GS. 1) The TFT screen will not remember my helmet pairing and I need to pair every time I start my bike. 2) even though the TFT displays that my iPhone is connected, I am unable to receive sound for both incoming and outgoing calls. It is very annoying considering the cost of the new BMW helmet and Comms System. I bought them because I could not pair my new Sena system with the TFT screen. Having said that, the Navigation system works well and I look forward to the announced App upgrade just around the corner, according to online reports.
Is it possible to pair the BMW intercom with the Tft & Nav 6 ? I can't make it work it's the nav or the tft .From the Nav no streaming possible from the sdcard and no GPS notification. Do you have a solution ?

Hallo Thorsten, in diesem Fall musst du dich entscheiden, ob du Musik vom Handy oder die Ansagen des Navis hören möchtest. Du kannst sowohl dein Handy, wie auch deinen Helm entweder mit dem Connectivity Display verbinden, dann kannst du eben Musik vom Handy zu hören, oder beide Geräte mit dem Navi koppeln, dann hörst du die Navi-Ansagen. @@bmwmotorrad you didn't answer his question and the link is no help as it describes the APP to TFT connection. You can not connect the TFT display to the Navigator VI. This would be very useful to get the Navigator VI sound to the Helmet via the TFT. Very simple setup: everything is connected to the TFT only. This way the TFT would pass along the audio from the Navigator VI and the phone to the helmet. So you hear music AND navigation. The TFT is the center of connectivity! furthermore the Navigator VI could pass useful information to the TFT besides audio, like speed limits, direction arrows and further more.
+pkarandreas I'm not 100% about that. The official standing currently is that BMW Motorrad Connected App is for Apple devices with iOS from version 10.3.1 or Android devices with OS 6.0.1. With these devices for example: iOS: iPhone 6, iPhone 6s, iPhone 7 Android: Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Galaxy S7, Sony XPERIA Z5, Motorola Moto G, Motorola Moto X Style, LG G5, Huawei Mate 8, and HTC Perfume. +Youllo Cousteau, In this case, you must decide what you need more: to listen to music from your phone or to hear the Navi’s announcements. You can connect your cell phone, as well as your helmet, either to the Connectivity Display (then the music from your phone is possible), or pair both devices with the Navi, then you can hear the Navi prompts. Hello! I want the Connectivity to take care of all my phone calls but I also want to hear the Navigator VI voice instructions. How can I do this!? I mean, if I must use Navigator VI to control the smartphone calls whats the point of the Connectivity existance in the first place!?
I had the same problem with my Rallye. I bought the BMW Communicator to ensure everything works and found that if I connected the TFT I could not to use the Nav. Dealer confirmed it had to be one or the other. Tried pairing with my 5 year old Sena 20S and can now listen to music, make and take calls on iPhone, use the BMW nav app AND use the Nav VI which correctly overrides other inputs to give Nav instructions. Can also talk to wife on pillion. Everything works exactly as it should every time with the extra benefits that the Sena has radio built in, it works bike to bike over 1 km and I can use any helmet. The only thing I lose is using the bike to adjust volume but as the Sena has a big glove friendly knob it is not an issue. BMW Communicator now returned to dealer for refund.
Even worse is that BMW push you into purchasing their Communicator headset and note they cannot guarantee the system works with other makes. I have found, as BMW confirm, that their own kit cannot connect to both the TFT and GPS but but my Sena kit has no problem doing this. They should withdraw the claim in the instructions to use BMW kit as the claim is plainly false.
If only BMW would be advanced enough to use good quality bluetooth unit, that would be great. My f850gs is having continuous issues with forgetting devices. No software updates at BMW service are resolving the problem. Really annoying and lame of BMW :(
Hello I would like to know why there are problems connecting to the iphone on TFT. Why is the common headset with bluetooth technology not connected with the TFT? Am I required to buy the BMW headset and its helmet? thank you.
I had no problem connecting my iPhone but there is an odd issue in that the TFT allows me to select tracks and albums but when I try to select a playlist it just shows "radio" with 0 tracks. There are many playlists on my phone and they all show up correctly on my Mazda car so this seems to be another TFT problem. For connecting to headset and Nav see my reply above. Do not buy BMW headset. even BMW have noted above that you cannot use TFT and Nav together BUT it all works OK with Sena.
The BMW has a major connectivity problem, even when you setup your connections and come back the next day or some other days, it will no longer work and have to reconnect Sena and TFT all over again, a KNOWN ISSUE with BMW "technology".

Just bougt a new GS1250, can't connect my Schuberth M1 with cardo SC-1... When the bike connects to to my phone ( Samsung A5 ), you can't listen to your music. So a lot of promises and a nice TFT but is doesn't work with other blue tooth devices. You have to buy easy connect of BMW. So, very disappointed in BMW !

Well, My AGV Helmets "Inside" system begs to differ. Feels not so funny with Avery expensive bike and a helmet with comms for around 800EURO....

Shame that original (v3) BMW bleutooth cannot pair simultaneously as above AND the NAV6 (also original BMW) and third party gear can.

My TFT will pair with my helmet and phone but not together. Only one device will connect to the TFT at any one time.

No, it isn't. I have two f5mcs and it simply doesn't work. No phone audio, no media audio, no navigator audio, no intercom audio.

I can tell you, that it's no Problem with a Schuberth C4 Helmet with the SC1 Module; which is a Sena System.

Yes, but how to pair the Navigator VI? I mean, I can connect the smartphone and headset to Connectivity easily, but I can't seem to have the voice instructions of the Navigator VI on my helmet. Help please

In this case, you must decide what you need more: to listen to music from your phone or to hear the Navi’s announcements.
You can connect your cell phone, as well as your helmet, either to the Connectivity Display (then the music from your phone is possible), or pair both devices with the Navi, then you can hear the Navi prompts. By the way, the Navi can also function as an MP-3 Player.

Hello! I want the Connectivity to take care of all my phone calls but I also want to hear the Navigator VI voice instructions. How can I do this!? I mean, if I must use Navigator VI to control the smartphone calls whats the point of the Connectivity existance in the first place!?
+BMW Motorrad So you charge over £500 for a sat nav that you now can't listen to IF you want to make use of the functionality of the TFT. What a mess
I had the same problem with my Rallye. I bought the BMW Communicator to ensure everything works and found that if I connected the TFT I could not to use the Nav. Dealer confirmed it had to be one or the other. Tried pairing with my 5 year old Sena 20S and can now listen to music, make and take calls on iPhone, use the BMW nav app AND use the Nav VI which correctly overrides other inputs to give Nav instructions. Can also talk to wife on pillion. Everything works exactly as it should every time with the extra benefits that the Sena has radio built in, it works bike to bike over 1 km and I can use any helmet. The only thing I lose is using the bike to adjust volume but as the Sena has a big glove friendly knob it is not an issue. BMW Communicator now returned to dealer for refund.
Even worse is that BMW push you into purchasing their Communicator headset and note they cannot guarantee the system works with other makes. I have found, as BMW confirm, that their own kit cannot connect to both the TFT and GPS but but my Sena kit has no problem doing this. They should withdraw the claim in the instructions to use BMW kit as the claim is plainly false.
If only BMW would be advanced enough to use good quality bluetooth unit, that would be great. My f850gs is having continuous issues with forgetting devices. No software updates at BMW service are resolving the problem. Really annoying and lame of BMW :(

I would like to know why there are problems connecting to the iphone on TFT.
Why is the common headset with bluetooth technology not connected with the TFT? Am I required to buy the BMW headset and its helmet?

I had no problem connecting my iPhone but there is an odd issue in that the TFT allows me to select tracks and albums but when I try to select a playlist it just shows "radio" with 0 tracks. There are many playlists on my phone and they all show up correctly on my Mazda car so this seems to be another TFT problem. For connecting to headset and Nav see my reply above. Do not buy BMW headset. even BMW have noted above that you cannot use TFT and Nav together BUT it all works OK with Sena.
The BMW has a major connectivity problem, even when you setup your connections and come back the next day or some other days, it will no longer work and have to reconnect Sena and TFT all over again, a KNOWN ISSUE with BMW "technology".

To be more precise - app is installed. phone is paired. menu option for navi faded out. Display shows that phone is connected.

My IOS version is 11.3 !!! the version 10.3.1 is a very old version !!

the TFT screen is connecting to my phone, but the application stays in status "disconnected"
Just bougt a new GS1250, can't connect my Schuberth M1 with cardo SC-1... When the bike connects to to my phone ( Samsung A5 ), you can't listen to your music.
So a lot of promises and a nice TFT but is doesn't work with other blue tooth devices. You have to buy easy connect of BMW. So, very disappointed in BMW !

"Add helmet" only works with BMW's own helmets. That's a shitty thing.
