I was accepted to an honours chemical pathology in one of South Africa’s prestigious universities 🇿🇦 then got scared. I majored in Biochemistry and Chemistry at the University of Johannesburg. I would love to just get into the industry without the need of getting more degrees after an honours degree. I have applied this year again for 2025. A lot of science majors get neglected by the industry in SA (SA, doesn’t have a variety of labs as well). It’s frustrating. I watch until the final second to see if my decision is still worth it.
