The numerous holes and cracks in the limestone of the basement of the orangery were in poor condition. For the repair we made an imitation stone mortar based on crushed stone.
This at very little cost, because we crush pieces of stones found on the spot, and we only had to buy a little lime and cement.

Limestone imitation reconstitution mortar.
3 volume of crushed limestone powder, 0/4
1 volume of binder composed of 50% white cement 32.5 and 50% white lime NHL 3.5
Color depending on the ground material, or added pigments.
Repointing mortar
1.5 volumes of crushed limestone powder, 0/2
1.5 volumes of sand 0/2
1 volume of CL 90 lime
Color depending on the load.
