There is a lot more to Sioux Falls than the downtown area. Many areas are up and coming new areas, like many cities in one. We have everything you need here which is why we love it. There's 41st Street, one of the main streets with the mall and many restaurants and stores. The east side is newer with more than ample shopping and beautiful housing and apts., etc. The Lake Lorraine area is stunning and so beautiful. This is a drab, gray day here , and I'm afraid a lot of our winter is like this, but the snow brightens the winters!
Just checking out videos about Sioux Falls. Am thinking about making a move out there. Real estate seems nice and very much looking to get away from the craziness on the East Coast. Am aware of the Winter and all that it has to bring; lived in New England for several years, so am used to that. Will be checking out other videos of the area. Thanks for the post!
I moved out of South Dakota down to Jacksonville NC and let me say! I miss it a ton, I never realized how much I liked living in the Midwest. Definitely thinking about moving back home
We’ll be moving to Sioux Falls when we retire (and this COVID thing is over). The people are very friendly there AND South Dakota is one of best states for retirees in terms of quality of life. NO personal income tax and great healthcare! Btw... LOVE the downtown area with it’s restaurants and festival scene.
The weather here is awesome. This guy drove through on the worst day. Summer is 95% sunshine and winter is also very sunny. It does get cold though. After a good snow storm you will see -20F. Sioux Falls is my love and my life. This place is great.
If you come from somewhere warm, its cold. Im used to the cold since I lived in Canada a few years back. It can become windy, and very dry. If you love the heat, this is not a city for you.
Driving downtown is like going through any small town in the Midwest but Sioux Falls has great streets and road systems that prevent any bottle necks. That’s why it’s a snap driving through downtown, or anywhere in Sioux Falls.
Falls Park with a beautiful waterfall and lit up at night, many walking trails, often are events going on when the pandemic wasnt a thing, the new Arc of Dreams sculpture, alot of restaurants, shops, and bars, beautiful Japanese Gardens by Covell Lake
The plandemic isn't going to be over for a long time. The goal is to bankrupt all the small businesses and eliminate the middle class. Check out The Corbett Report if you appreciate actual journalism over TV propaganda.
I guess he's from Winnipeg where I live. I saw his older videos are in Winnipeg, so probably Manitoba plates. But it also could be any plates (rental cars) when he travels to the States.
BNSF And Roblox Train Fan what’s is there to do? How’s the nightlife? Are there a lot of interracial couples there? I’m a black man and I don’t want to come there and have to deal with racists.
@Drunk Spock we are open. Still have some stores that require masks, but overall most of Sioux Falls is open for business. Great time of year to visit before winter hits.
There has been about $1Billion dollars of development downtown since this video was taken. I just moved back after 20 years and it is a completely different city. Twice the population of when I left.
Michael Cline ...I’d say yes, due to being larger & also I discovered in my 20’s that KC is an easy 6 hr drive S. & we even had 60 degrees in Jan. one yr. 🙂 You also have Mpls 3+ hrs away. Brrr 🥶 tho! I could nvr go back.
This video was made during the worst part of the year but it had its purpose. To discourage people from moving here. We don’t want a lot of people moving here and turning SF into something we don’t want.
I moved here from Chicago. The whole city reminds me of Chicago’s far western suburbs along the Fox River Valley. Except it isn’t as crowded with traffic. The country’s the same too. I feel right at home here because it’s better.

Looks like a good sized city. Kind of reminds me of downtown Duluth. Thanks
My home town left. There 34 years ago now I'm moving back
I live in Sioux Falls . Is so small. Verrryyy small. Downtown is very small

Moving there in December from Phoenix to live a slower life. Let Michigan in '88, so my first winter might be jarring.
Beautiful city greetings from Lansing Michigan I really would love to live in South Dakota
It feels weird watching a video about streets and places I've been to my whole life
I’ve never been to Sioux Falls and I live in Pierre (born n raised). Do you think its way better than Rapid? Lol
Might be moving here but on the fence is this a good place to live?
Looks very peaceful. Thank you for filming 👍
Hi, from Japan.
Just subscribed!
Good Luck!
I'm definitely moving to Sioux Falls when I retire. I love the State of South Dakota.

It is relatively quiet compared to any east coast big city but with all the shopping needs you might have
@@ryankoch7107 Thank you for your reply. All of this helps me with my decision! Much appreciated!
My son is moving there in 3 mos.! Getting out of NYS!
Sioux Falls is amazing, thank you. I hope you went to Falls Park!

Not the Midwest you clown, also Jacksonville NC is among the WORST cities in the country
I had a very good memories living in Sioux falls 25years ago. People are very nice, and living cost were low.
are you in your thirdies?
Born and raised here! Love it so much!! Not big and not too small!
Need to see it myself
It must be extremely cold and extremely boring living here
@@HieuPham-jm5lj Nah Sioux falls aint boring at all lol

COVID will never be over! Move now!!!!
South Dakota is virtually covid free (seriously). Just be careful and no need to wait.
@@archiemelkonian You are so right. Bought a rural property last summer near Sioux Falls.
Sioux Falls is listed as the contact place on my Office Depot billing statement. Greetings from California.
Greeting from Oregon. Would like to move to this town. Governor Noem is my biggest motivation 😉
Greetings from Thailand. Will be in Sioux Falls in late September for a few days. Looking forward to it.
Nothing like a dark, gray day to set off your city, huh!
Lmao
I cannot believe you didn't drive-through Falls Park ... 4:40
I live in the big building just beyond the archway entering the park....
Is it an apartment or condo? My wife and I will be looking for a condo when we move there in fall 2021 or 2022. We love the downtown area!
@@musicjones1956 Lofts!! 💖💖
its PERFECT there is iiterally nothing going on this town cant wait to move there are the winters long and super cold?
With the savings, you will be making regular trips to California or Mexico EASILY.

Bonito vídeo, saludos y bendiciones desde Nicaragua 🇳🇮...
I love the weather!
What is there to do in Sioux Falls? I was thinking about going once the pandemic is over.
Well theres a look of parks the most famous is falls park and good restaurants
Falls Park is famous; we have a lot of restaurants and a great Downtown scene. :)
If u like riding bike we have a huge bike trail that wraps around the town. Frisbee golf areas, good actual golf courses, and several parks to visit.

was this shot in February? I might be moving here, i'm trying to get a feel for the climate.
I always wondered what state/province license plates Sunday Driver has on his car.

Beautiful City!!! Hugs from Brazil!!!!!🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷👏👏👏
My Uncle Jesse lives there I live in Sturgis it feels like a long drive getting from one side of the state to another
Is it always dark cloudy & sad?
The video looks a little grayish, it's because of the weather?
It was cloudy, but I'm still adjusting to my new camera. Thanks for your comments
oh yes, the whitish cast from the salty roads & sometimes gray winter skies...brings back memories!
We are going to Sioux Falls Aug 30th or 31st. What are the main tourist attractions.
Thanks video! I have two go sioux falls sometime I been there in awhile.
Are there unincorporated towns in south Dakota?
Like from Brasil.
Thank you for comment.
Was here back in 1986 for 3 months during my pre-college studies at Augie...Is Hyvee still around?
Yep
Yes.
So nice...
Thanks...

I'm going there soon. Can I stay with you?
I'm sure the suburbs aren't quite as crowded.

Muito linda essa cidade 😘🤗
This couldn't have been flimed on a Sunday because if you look at one scene you see a city bus and buses don't run on Sundays.
It hasn't changed. It's been 20 years since I've been there
There has been about $1Billion dollars of development downtown since this video was taken. I just moved back after 20 years and it is a completely different city. Twice the population of when I left.
It’s gotten much more diverse with different people from all over the world now. It wasn’t like that over 20 years ago.
I wonder is it always so empty out of people or only on sundays?
My city is so dens !!
Do one in summer when theres a little green!
Muy bonita esta ciudad me encanta
im from morocco i like this city ❤️
Looks exciting.
looks dreary and grey, but sortof serene
Why they chose winter to make a dash cam video is beyond me? The summer and fall is the best here.
Went around the same streets 40 times. Pretty sure there is more to it than that.
I Like Sioux Falls, South Dakota. U.S.A
Everywhere is so grey here.
I haven’t been back in forever, but SF should really add some green landscaping downtown.
Try Pittsburgh. The sun didn’t come out for 2 months straight this year...
Was just thinking that same shit bro lol look like alaska or some shit
@Jeffy if you go to falls park you’d see a lot of green
Its gray because this was filmed in the winter, when the grass is dead and frozen, but it just so happened to be cloudy the day they drove downtown
Nice thanks
It's so dark and gloomy. Does the sun ever shine here?
AWESOME fist i thought it said sioux falls iowa lol what city and state u doing next plz minnesota
That is one gloomy town or is it because of no 🌞?
You should do one for Cedar Rapids and Dubuque, Iowa.
I'm from Jersey and I live in Phoenix. This city looks so small that it's creepy to me.
Saludos desde Argentina !!!
Great

I've lived in both and it's not even close, Sioux Falls by a mile. Rapid City is a western town, while Sioux Falls is diverse and hip.
If you want less crime, yes lol
Yes
what is the purpose of this video Sunday Driver?
Who's here in Sioux Falls South Dakota in 2024?
Where is the traffic? Looks kind of ghost town like
Its usually wayy busier than that when I drive down there, especially during the rush hour, but there it is unusually quiet
It's Sunday morning.
For a state that has less than 1million people (decent people I might add) the traffic is just right!
Nice
Is there a Chick-fil-A there so I can transfer?
There will be one built by next year, where the old Ford car lot store used to been around the Empire Mall.
it was delayed due to covid but should be up by mid summer 2021
It’s should start construction in spring of 2021 at the empire place in Sioux Falls SD
Yes there is now finally

They picked the worst time of year, (winter) to drive around town.
U Eva drove through Denver
If no one is walking, you can't call it a city. This is more like a huge convenience centre.
This was during early covid. The streets are packed now

What a grim, colourless, depressing town. The sidewalks are empty - where is everyone?
