I mash and blend my sweet potatoes/ yams to create a puree and blend those into my sugar egg butter mixture as shared in my vlog. Hope this information helps. Enjoy!
I think sweet potato pie is more of a southern tradition. Growing up my mother and all my aunties made sweet potato pie. Never had pumpkin pie until l was much older and on my own.
