For anyone who doesn't have access to the lounge at ADL, if you want food, buy from the Subway in the forecourt rather than paying a fortune for food inside the terminal proper. Its what I did when I flew out of ADL in December and it was no more expensive than any other Subway store I have been into and much better value than the options inside the terminal IMO.
What are those round port-hole looking things above the check-in desks at the terminal? I see them on a lot of your videos and always wonder what they are. Nice video, by the way. Glad to see you back. Stay safe and stay happy.
Jayden why didn't you simply change your seat in the App or online? Alternatively you could have asked the Front Desk in the Lounge and they would change your seat if there was availability. We flew ADL-MEL-MCY and return a couple of weeks ago. I moved us from row 2 to row 1 no problems.
Seats 3C, D and F were empty when I checked at the airport as I was passing through security. So the people (they were together) checked in later than me and decided to sit there, rather than maybe 3D and F, and maybe 2F or D! And I could've moved myself to 2F, I'm sure the crew would let me. But I picked 3A for filming purposes and didn't move because of that😄
I like boarding passes as well haha but not those that like supermarket receipt ones haha.nice to see coloured printed boarding pass instead of black and white ones
I always enjoy your trip reports, particularly your detailed narrations. Did you get tipsy from the wine? 😉 The breakfast looked relatively light, but good. It seems QANTAS has a nice business class product. Love the approach into Canberra, it reminds me of the one into San Diego, California here in the US - over the desert hills, then gradually there are more roads and houses until the city looms in the distance. It looks like Canberra is a smaller city though, more of a rural look from the air. Nice job!

I've never been tempted by airport lounge buffets either. There's always a niggling thought about flies, and literally hundreds of people coming into contact with open and fully exposed food before you reach it. You just know for a fact not everyone will wash their hands properly. No thanks! Give me something freshly cooked from a menu or something wrapped up.
Great video, the crew on this flight were so nice and professional. The price for Business Class was so expensive for a 1,5 hour flight. Happy Lunar New Year, a litte bit late tho haha
i cant get over how "tiny" the business class toilet was. it actually looked more confined than the economy toilets. Also for business class - although you had plenty of room from your knees to the seat infront of you, i still thought for that type of money for a one way ticket - was not worth it. some business class areas and seats look awesome, i didnt notice anything outstanding on this flight regarding the seating area
DEN ROSE So which airline would have a bigger business cabin toilet on a B737 or a Airbus A320? Have you tried Business Class on a European legacy carrier- you don’t Get those comfortable Business class seats ( with the exception of BA) . Most legacy European airlines off you the same economy seat with the seat next to you “ blanked out” meaning you will have the whole row to yourself. Only thing that is different is the food, but no cabin barrier between Business & economy. Same toilets, same seats, higher price for a slightly better food offerings on your 1.5-2hr , intra Europe flight.
indeed, I would've gone to the check-in desk if I had a suitcase. The check-in desk is only for business class/priority and those connecting to overseas. And even for business most people use the machine so if I went to the desk they'd give me death stares😝

its really hard work what you're doing. great videos. you should do bullet rains in china. its faster in total time than catching a plane. People in china pretty much all use fast trains rather than fly now, for domestic trips. eg: shanghai to beijing, nanjing, hk to shanghai etc. its too much hassle at airports, checking in, walking to gates etc. chinese trains are even better than Japan's and much faster at 348km per hour.
Flew business from Brisbane to Denpasar last February in these seats.. So uncomfortable for long distance and way to expensive. Foot rest is at a weird angle... Crew were amazing tho.
It's been up and down, Melbourne had a 100+ day lock down mid-2020, and Sydney still had cases up until around November. Things started to look better (zero local cases) in late November and then all of a sudden there was a new cluster in Sydney in mid-December. Things are getting back to normal yet again and there hasn't been any local cases in the last 5 days or so and borders are reopening.

yep and no mood lighting ahhh! It's only good when economy is fully packed haha. My return flight only had 20 people and I happily sat in economy :D

the boarding pass printed over the kiosk machine the ink will not last long, i much preferred it to be printed over the check in counter

I had a similar problem with my Jetstar flight, they fill the plane from the front back so you end with 27 full rows, and 4 empty rows in the back
