also you are an incredible player…. Very fluid and smooth… really really inspiring!!!! I’m pretty confident you could make ANY guitar sound excellent!!!
I discovered Wilkinsen pickups about 15 years ago. I was very impressed with their tonality and have them in several of my Strats. Very good pups and the fact they're inexpensive is just a joy.
From Leo: I really like the tone of those Wilkison pickups. I found a deal on a set of used ones, and use the neck and middle in a Yamaha guitar. Just like you found, they have a nice voice.
@jazzydog it didn't have any sound last time when I checked it out. It's Great now. Great playing. I have a 1981 Squire Made in Japan (1973 Stratocaster Reissue) I also have a All Original 1973 USA Fender Stratocaster. I actually prefer the Squire It is by far better piece. Where was yours made? It sounds great. Happy Picking 👍
Squier Japan is great guitar. I had the Korean made year 90's long time ago. This Squier Bullet made 2000 something I can't remember exact year & I sold it already. I bought Twister Strat used & put these Wilkinson pickups on it & sound much better than the Bullet one. Thanks for watching &. Have a great weekend!!
I have exactly those pickups on my upgraded Takeharu Super Sounds. They sound great. I can't imagine anything better even if you doubled or tripled your budget.
I have a tele squire that I put lots of mods in, fender vintage noiseless pickups locking tuners etc. if the guitar has good neck can turn it into a great instrument for a reasonable price
@@warrengreig5556 Agreed with you. I have tele Squier standard also & changed the saddle with Wilkinson & put a Seymour Duncan pickups sound & feel really good. Thanks for checking the video 🙏🙏
Felicitaciones ..muy agradable el sonido y la interpretación... Una consulta esos pickups ....son Americanos , Inglesas o Chinas ??? cual es su modelo especifico para comprarlos ??
I would pay for a cd with this kind of music and played by you on that guitar. If you decide to do so, please let me know. It tastes tremendously. Best regards.
Very nice tone! Some short question only sir.. Single coil: Bridge PU: alnico V (wilkinson) Mid PU: Ceramic (wilkinson) Neck PU: ceramic (wilkinson) is this good combination sir.. or its better all alnico v.. sorry for this s)) question sir..
Hi no prob with the set up, I mixed alnico & ceramic on my strat long time ago & sound soo awesome. There is not about right or wrong as long the pickups works well together, is more about what kind a sound you're looking for, Thanks😀👍👍
Classic Vibe is more higher quality than other Squiers type including the pickups but If you like this vintage '62 sound yes you might change it, Wilkinson is a great product, I'm really happy with it. Cheers.
