Sambar Deer surprised by Tiger

Rare sighting of a Sambar deer inadvertently coming very close (within 10-12 feet) to the female Tiger "Chhoti Tara" at the Tadoba Andhari National park. It seemed that Chhoti Tara's wasn't too hungry, else it could have turned gruesome for the Sambar. It turned out to be a lucky day for us as we got to witness this rare sight and, more so for the Sambar deer, as it beat death by a whisker!
