    Period house..let's rip out all of the origina period featuers, fit a B&Q flat pack kitchen and fit Arctic White UPVC fake leaded double glazing.
    Why do we not appreciate the beauty of our period properties?? If you want an interior like that, buy a new build on a housing estate.

    I adore this show and gobble up every episode I can get my hands on. I especially loved the outside spaces at each of these homes. One thing has always puzzled me though. When someone travels very far, with a very limited time to find a home, why in the world do the presenters show them houses that are not what they've asked for? They clearly said they wanted income potential and only barely got that offered to them with the first house. Jules and Nicky are two of my favorite presenters and usually fill the clients' brief; but, as nice as the homes were, not this time.

    And THANK YOU so much for uploading these. I have only been to N Wales. Beautiful countryside and quaint houses with lovely gardens. Not sure the moaning Minnie’s with the critical comments have undergone a conversion from period cottage to modern warm and functional home. I have done this twice and you do end up with unusual shaped rooms, kitchens with ovens next door, narrow bathrooms and small windows. Could the critics be from countries where an old house is maybe 50 years old or even less?

    • @miagray6531

      i think you’ll find they mentioned Ethiopia, the country in which the first known human civilisation existed, so this critique is not only incorrect but clearly coming from someone who woke up with something far up their a*se

    the brief was not followed, really really poor quality houses, no income and double the national average, did they choose houses that couldn't sell because they were quick buyers. I hope they found something terrific with income potential.

    • @FukuDaiYOUNG
      @FukuDaiYOUNG 4 года назад +4

      Ann Britton I agree. House #3 was not £1,000 under budget but £29,000 over budget as clearly specified by the buyer at the outset. The paddock in house #2 was not suitable for grazing livestock, let alone alpacas. If I were the buyer, I would be ticked at the cavalier disregard of the brief by the presenter.
