There are so many people who can read while sick - they like to get all cosy with a book. And I'm always like, 'How???' Because I just lie there feeling sorry for myself and don't have the mental energy for anything, let alone reading. It's so funny to me that you didn't open your present immediately. I would have been straight in there. 😆 The lack of good books/lack of motivation cycle is so real right now. Obviously I've also had other things that I've been spending my time on, but I do think I still would have been able to motivate myself to read anyway if I'd had something I was excited about. And now I do, but I'm still 200 pages from the end of the book I picked up to bridge the gap. Cosy books aren't my thing so that Treason book is not going to make it onto my TBR, but that cover is so cute. I love the style. I really need to get to Court of Wanderers so we can talk about it. But I've decided to reread Silver Under Nightfall first after all. But I think I want to reread Foxglove King and then read Hemlock Queen first, so who knows when Wanderers will happen.
Oh it definitely depends on how sick I am, there were a few days I could just be a potato and that was it. No reading at all hahahaha. I already have a spot on my bookshelf planned out for Treason so I hope it's good! :) (Pls read Wanderers, I Must Discuss.)
