For anyone wondering why this game seems to hold up perfectly against today’s games, graphically. They had no choice. This was a “flagship” game. its main purpose was to show off what the Xbox could handle on day one. If anything this game is proof that today’s devs are just lazy and greedy. I still enjoy this game from time to time. It’s extremely linear, but it doesn’t try to hide it. Knows what it is, and does it well.
Similar to killzone shadow fall. It was a launch exclusive for the ps4 deisgned to show how much balls the ps4 had and yeah that it showed since the game holds up well graphically even today

British celts didnt had strongholds like that, that looks very medieval. Also when when the romans arrived there were no resistance in the beaches of Britain, maybe except during caesar's invasion of Britain. I know it's a fantasy game but details like this it's very difficult to ignore if you are into Roman history
In the game that strong hold was supposed to be controlled by the Roman's when the 14th legions are closing in the the port they are expecting good welcome by friends, so the the Britons really don't have that fort thay have taken it from the Roman's... I went back and played it recently it’s definitely underrated the combat is pretty fun but can be a bit repetitive overtime and it’s not a long game but the story, the set pieces, the executions and the graphics are incredible even for today’s standards
This is not how it went at all. The Romans landed unopposed in Britain, but faced fierce opposition inland. There was no 'D-Day' style battle on the beaches of Britannia. But for gaming purposes, it looks entertaining!
