What a fun vlog!!! Great that mom sent you a care package from home. It can be difficult when overseas and either not being able to get one's favorite food items or being able to get them, but at an exorbitant price. I even got excited when you pulled those Ghanian peanuts out of the bag. I remember them from when I was in Ghana twice on vacation.
Over a few decades when I used to spend entire summers in a northern European country, I would send myself a care package to my rented address there. The box would have to be sent from Los Angeles by ship and took a good 6-8 weeks to arrive. By the time I arrived, I knew that I had about two more weeks before the box would arrive to my overseas residential building. Sending by air back then was far too expensive and unheard of with such shipments. You were lucky to have grandma as your DHL equivalent delivery person. Smiles.

I absolutely can’t do without these Monday vlogs. I’ve missed NY so much watching these that I’m making a trip there soon! I love just seeing you have so much fun! 😍 btw if you’re just seeing the naked cowgirl wait until you see the half naked younger versions 😂😂😂😂 I haven’t been to ny in over a year so they might not be there anymore but you’ll likely see them in the afternoon. Crazy that naked cowboy is so successful that he makes an entrance only a couple months for the warmer weather then naked cowgirl comes and takes his place. I can’t remember if I’ve ever seen them there at the same time when I worked in Times Square

Cassie, OMG you just gave me a glimpse of both my old micro-neighborhoods! My first apt was at 80 1/2 Jane St. (right by the old Pastis) and my second one was 378 Bleecker (across from Diptyque)! Thank you for that bit of nostalgia! And I know what you mean about having to kind of pinch yourself to believe it. My entire five years there felt like this amazing alternate reality/time out of time. Anyway, I wish you every grand adventure and thanks so much for sharing it with us!

As always, such a treat. For longer hair: silk pillows work, the hype is real. A really good quality silk pillow will keep your hair from getting so dry (cotton pillow cases absorb moisture) and you can grow your hair longer. Promise you. Also...put conditioner on ends before shampooing. Anyhow, this is turning into an annoying comment so I'll stop. But, again: high quality silk pillows are helpful. [Your Mom's Chanel surprise: amazing. Those hoops ARE a whole vibe!!!]
