I didn't know he says this. I have to try this out next time. But I always get a crap load of fusion cells in general. Good source of currency to sell the ammo you don't use. And besides. Only so many corpses, or dead synths, will stay there before they spawn away. Only so many on screen at once I suppose. I've seen the same thing in Skyrim.

I just finished this mission and just started roaming around, this my first time playing and I wish I did this, might go back to the save and do this

I don't think there infinite just alot Like alot.
They're not infinite, eventually they will stop spawning. That said so many spawn you do run to the point that the game starts despawning weapons and corpses after a while.

that would be very efficient. every dungeon crawler should do that.
Loot detector and loot detector expansion with mcm support is what you are looking for. Remember you need to have the perk scrapper level 1 to activate it.

Over 1000 fusion cells + the Tesla cannon is an absolutely OP loadout, it almost makes it feel like I’m cheating with how easy it is to take down enemies.
Oh child You forgot about one thing... the never ending Laser musket
tesla cannon demolishes everything within few hits, if not 1 hit, so it's better imo

If you take all of those to a workbench you can get a ton of plastic and other materials which come in handy. Plastic is good for making jet.

I like to think the institute is just cranking out Synths & sending them like Father is just sitting there like "Damnit make more, I want that man Dead!"

in my first playthrough i ran into this over the course of 7 different deaths as i was distracted, and i was so confused on why so many were still spawning every time when i would look up
"And Synths have begun to swarm" sounded like "And Symps have begun to swarm" for a moment LMAO!

I've never seen that power armor helmet animation at the beginning. pretty neat
And it's only used there.
Hearing Danse kinda panicking and hollering for us to, "PUSH A BUTTON, PUSH EVERYTHING" on the button console in an ancient, unknown rocket launch test system while being swarmed by Gen 2 Synths let me know one thing: This guy's a just a _wee_ bit of a himbo, isn't he?
I don't like the BoS one bit, but he grew on me, and was the last NPC to do so.

Those institute weapons make for a cheap way to arm your settlers too, seeing as they have infinite ammo too as long as they have one bullet

There’s a limit to how many bodies you can have in the area. Eventually they start spawning out.
I do this on every play through, I have no idea how this got past anyone working on the game

He even says that if you seal team six the place and don't even take damage.
If you install a mod called spawn grenades ( it allows you to spawn many different NPC's and creature's) , you can just lob one in choosing between 1- 50 spawns and laugh as the room fills with Synths. Be careful though as if you spawn too many you can tank your frame rate.
Well once you've spent 2,700 hours in the game you have to make it interesting.😊
If 4 had "the loot from all nearby corpses" function from 76 this would be so much faster

From the Netflix educational videos, i gather the BoS knights don't like it when you just stand there and let them tank the damage.

Imagine how much faster it would go and all the nuclear material you could get if you reverse pickpocket a plasma rifle into his inventory before starting this mission
I feel like this method would inevitably lead to the game crashing if too many entities are in one place for too long.
I literally completed this quest this morning before work. I had no idea you could do this so I'll be starting from an earlier save after work to stock up on fusion cells. Thx for the tip.

I sided with the BoS in my very first playthrough because I was familiar with them from previous games. Now I usually side with the Minutemen.

make sure you do the quest when you see them if you don’t it’ll soft lock the game and dans will be stuck and you’ll end up losing the quest line entirely

If you have Amazing Follower Tweaks plus you can loot all of it in a matter of seconds and it all goes to your companion who does not get over encumbered. Dog meat was carrying about 5000 rounds of fusion cells and at least 300+ weapons to scrap or sell.

I use this spot in survival mode for early access to large amounts of ammo seeing as the synths never stop
It sucks how common that glitch that makes it impossible to start the brotherhood questline is, while there are solutions sometimes the only solution is a new play through
I recently replayed the game and wound up getting over 2k fusion cells here without even trying, as well as a good laser rifle to use in the game. Now I remember why I almost always focused on energy weapons in my precious saves. 😂
I couldn't sit around doing nothing at this point. I always go in and help Danse kill the synths.
Whenever I go a Laser Build I always do exactly this lmfao

I'd add pick pocketing skills are decent, you can creep up on anyone, even Dance, and take their fusion core. It's funny. They stop, get out, try to walk through the suit and the carry on in their underwear. Works on all BOS guys and gals. I think my character has about 150+ in inventory. Also, did you know you can carry as many power armor suits as you can kill by looting the bodies of fallen BOS, but when you transferr any that are still being shown as worn have weight, but if you shoot, sat an arm, it will disappear on the corpse, but you can take it damaged with no weight. You can repair it later. After the battle at Bunker Hill, I had 11 suits when I got home, all weighting zip, until I repaired and let my settlers wear them. Just leave them with a power core and someone will get it.
If only I knew this before finishing the quest and running out of cores later😬
If only fallout 4 had 76s pick up where you have all near by inventorys

Once I noticed that you could get fusion cells I reloaded my save and managed to accumulate almost 25 thousand 6 years later I'm still on that save and I've never run out

I imagine that would work until you push it too far and there are too many objects out to the point the PC or console decides that it is just gonna crash.
When you said Fusion Cells believe it or not I was actually thinking of Fusion Cores and I'm like "Wow! Over 3k Fusion Cores?! Sign me up!" Until I saw the cores underneath 😂😂😂
I have no idea what version you're playing, but i swear i did this before just out of curiosity. And only a like 10 would spawn before they would stop coming, and danse had a speical voice line or something

Except it is far from "unlimited" they absolutly stop spawning after a little bit.
Somehow i ran out in the quest defend the castle (from the brotherhood)
And then you put all of them in the bottomless musket
And then you play it on Survival Mode, so that Ammo has Weight, and suddenly, that hoard of ammo no longer looks appealing...
