I find it easier to figure out crosshair placement, i played cs with friends years ago for the fun and came back to it and at the time friends were playing valorant so i tried that and i cannot for the life of me find where to aim at all
That's really strange, because Valorant maps always have more or less subtle supporting lines on walls and entries. As soon as you get the pattern, you nearly always know the crosshair placement for the head for every distance
The skill does transfer at least aim wise and basic gamesense wise, i ascendant in valorant and legendary eagle in cs with far fewer hours than the ones i have in valo. Just nades kinda hard to learn imo, i also a waiting for cs2 tho to learn lineups and stuff.
Ascendant in Valorant means you should at least be MGE+ maybe even DMG starter in CS:GO imo, so yeah the basic aim and gamesense should transfer easily I haven't played CS:GO in years and hopped back on it ranked and got instantly MGE and DMG in next game fairly easily
Yes but after Ascendant you have immortal and then Radiant. So you are very close to hit the peak in Valorant, since you don't have anything after Radiant, unless you go pro. But in CS is a lot different because matchmaking ranks are ass. You have lem, supreme, global. But after that you get to faceit were is a completely different experience. Lem is like level 4 skill-wise. Level 10 faceit and global elite are two completely different things most of the time. And after you hit level 10, a new thing starts which is farming for more elo. A level 10 (2300 elo) is way worse than a 3k elo. Then you have 4k elo. Then you have 5k elo. Then you have FPL-C and finally FPL. So even though you might think the skill transfers, i think is very debatable because you are so close to hit the peak in Valorant, as a pugger, but so far away to hit the PUG peak in CS GO. Imagine that if you have a Global Elite play against a 3k elo, it will feel like a gold player playing against a Radiant. He will get fucked. The difference in skill is so big is insane. In cs go if we combine matchmaking and faceit, and if we use the Valorant ranking system, you would be a bronze 2 in CS GO so far away from Radiant. So from an Ascendant on Valorant, you are a bronze 2 in CS GO. And it makes sense why because you have to get supreme, global, then get yourself to level 10, then get yourself to 3k elo, then get yourself to 4k elo, 5kelo, FPL-C/FPL. FPL will be the Radiant of CS. This is why CS GO players are way better than Valorant players, the skill gap is huge.

As a valo player i tried csgo first time(i didnt play it not bcs of valorant, idk i have a hatress since childhood) maps were pretty predictable. Its was sooo much easier to kill enemies or plant bomb.
@@KryzysX because in valorant the developers, who have zero competitive mapping experience, make the maps and not the community. so what you get is a bunch of unique ideas but terrible competitive design which feels like your fighting the map and not the enemies. seriously there are way too many unnecessary chokes and narrow connectors. the amount of bullshit angles in valorant is crazy and the devs have been trying to fix the issue since day 1 (ie. split, icebox) but for some fucking reason every new map they add continues to have a million 50/50 angles which literally dont exist in cs because people realised a decade ago that it is dogshit design. in contrast, the cs map in the video hasn’t been updated since 2013 because it literally just fucking works and feels good to play on. valorant players will play cs maps and be like “ohhh its so predictable,” like no bitch it’s just good competitive design which is a million times more fun and freeing to play on if you actually gave it a chance; there is logical reasoning behind the existence of every angle and you will rarely be exposed to more than one at once, which means mechanics become much more important than luck. valorant literally attempted to emulate cs design with breeze so you don’t feel like a claustrophobe in every choke, but too bad the devs still have no idea how to actually design a bombsite. the community will always make better maps than the actual developers, but for some reason riot doesn’t want that. even csgo’s developer made map ‘overpass’ was dogshit until updated like ten times.

While I don't exactly have great mechanical skills it was alright, the only issue I have with CSGO is not having some sort of audio cue/obvious visual cue that I killed somebody, I was shooting a dead body until I realised that guy wasn't shooting back. That being said, I went back to Valorant because my friends were playing there and I've gotten used to all the crazy things that's going on there already.
Yeah I agree. I feel like i can be more creative or have some type of odd strategy on valorant while on csgo it’s very cookie cutter as to how engagements go. I think the random map pool in valorant is a good feature, hear me out. If you can pick map like in csgo you would play inferno or mirage or dust ii over and over again and you never really want to experience a new map on your own cause well your rank depends on it. On valorant however, every game everyone is in the same position you get put in a random map it maybe ascent or maybe is breeze and whether you like it or not u have to play it and it can be a new experience every game and requires you to master every map unlike csgo where u just have to play 1 to 2 map to rank up. Moreover, in cs2 i think valve realize it and you have a map rank now.

@@lordofstone3989not really, you can just trashed on them with mechanical skills. You can brute force it to immortal with machanical skills alone pretty easily. But I doubt valorant player can do it in cs
CS:GO is way harder than Valorant mechanically so it would be hard for a Valorant player to play it. In Valorant the movement is very slow and terrible so hitting headshots is much easier and crosshair placement is much stronger as well as easier since you can't really wide swing. Also Valorant players rely on abilities in duels so aiming is easier. CS:GO doesn't have that so duels are much harder because they need to use pure aim.

@EdSz poppin swing is different to csgos ferrari peak. In csgo the movement is faster and u can just wide swing, in valorant u have to poppin swing. Poppin swing requires atleast 2 jiggles so that the enemys crosshair is moved closer to the wall meaning that even if u move slow they have bad crosshair placement.

I find it easier to figure out crosshair placement, i played cs with friends years ago for the fun and came back to it and at the time friends were playing valorant so i tried that and i cannot for the life of me find where to aim at all
Really just depends on what you’re used to, I have over 1k hours on val and crosshair placement is really hard for me in cs2
That's really strange, because Valorant maps always have more or less subtle supporting lines on walls and entries. As soon as you get the pattern, you nearly always know the crosshair placement for the head for every distance
@@jak0zz CS does this too on most maps, including line ups for utility.
The first compliment to csgo from a valorant player is the one thing valve is trying to get rid of in cs2 lol
sad that he didn't met some polish and russian guy in his team
The skill does transfer at least aim wise and basic gamesense wise, i ascendant in valorant and legendary eagle in cs with far fewer hours than the ones i have in valo. Just nades kinda hard to learn imo, i also a waiting for cs2 tho to learn lineups and stuff.
Ascendant in Valorant means you should at least be MGE+ maybe even DMG starter in CS:GO imo, so yeah the basic aim and gamesense should transfer easily
I haven't played CS:GO in years and hopped back on it ranked and got instantly MGE and DMG in next game fairly easily
This is why CS GO players are way better than Valorant players, the skill gap is huge.
yeah but the fact that he reloaded after every shot was annoying like bro shot 5 times with the dualies and then reloaded

I used to play CS 1.6 last time for a bit when I was really young, and a few FPS games here and there growing up. I didn't play CSGO until it was free (and didn't really play it because the first game I went in I met hella toxic smurfs). Went to play valorant for 1-2 years, then tried CSGO again just for fun.
Also in my experience I have a lot more fun on valorant whether it be with friends or solo. Even when I played csgo with friends there would be funny moments but it never felt fun to just play it. If you can pick map like in csgo you would play inferno or mirage or dust ii over and over again and you never really want to experience a new map on your own cause well your rank depends on it. On valorant however, every game everyone is in the same position you get put in a random map it maybe ascent or maybe is breeze and whether you like it or not u have to play it and it can be a new experience every game and requires you to master every map unlike csgo where u just have to play 1 to 2 map to rank up. bro this valorant player is better then my teammate in mm
so gladd jump throw is being removed
And now valve copied Valorant on a masive scale and crated CS2, cause if something works, we should copy it and do it too
he made a new video where he tried cs2, hope ohne reacts to it
in my opinion val is more for kids/teenagers a whole lot of cringe edaters and nerds on val fr csgo community is wayy wayyy better
True 😂 the Egirls on valorant ar some next level cringe.CSgo for me
Yeah I don't think I ran into many people older than maybe early 20 in Valorant
Csgo is ancient. Play whatever you want who cares. Csgo will be biased towards csgo, mainly because they’re old and stuck in there ways. It’s at least 20 years old now.
Same goes for valorant. I had fun with both, but I played them for fun, I didn’t take it seriously like mostly everyone else.
Csgos valorant older brother so there’s always gonna be this rivalry. Wasn’t the makers from valorant from the dev side of csgo?
Either way csgo pros couldn’t really hack it in the pro league from what I remember, skadoodle, BRax, auto. Really good players from csgo just had some missing game knowledge. Although IGLs like steel, Sean gares do well in both.
Besides any time csgo goes to shit just thank shroud for swooping in and giving it some numbers, then the community talks shit on him. Honestly csgo players deserve what they get, they should be happy it’s lasted this long.
In closing the csgo community doesn’t really have room to grow. It’s stale. Dudes who I know were pros 10 years ago are still pros today. Which is incredibly long for a game career. And that’s cool but how many times have I seen Niko or guardian or twists in a major. Too many times man. They are legends, but if this was valorant, R6,cod any other game they’re not gonna have that kind of longevity.
bro saying goldnova when he wouldn't even be able to get ascendant. LMFAOOOO
He played ok!! For the first time, definetly!!!
That reloading though! Its gonna get him, you cant reload every tine you kill someone! Look around first...
he is just as top 0.1% as ohne
To all the people who say they came from valo and says they’re playing it for the 1st time they’re capping
bro i miss csgo
0.1% is kinda hard to believe. From his val clips he has pretty slow reactions, mediocre awareness and overall bad crosshair placement.
I play both mainly val but i see it has valorant not having enough maps to at thos feature
