It's fucking great. I remember a few exemples in some other games like BlazBlue where Jin's ice changes colors depending on which palette you choose but most character keep the same effect. But Unist is great and makes all effects change colors, it's a great attention to detail, I love it.
Sajam flies through these combos. Meanwhile I've been working in the merkava combos for a few days. Maybe someday I'll be able to sight read combos like that
This new character seems awesome. I'm sticking with my main girl Nanase personally, but it's cool to see you learning this guy. He seems really solid with great range on a lot of his attacks.
What that one guy said about combos looking complicated cuz anime. If anything unist is one of the easiest anime games to learn tbh. Trying bbtag ate my soul as a fighting game noob. When unist was announced ed for evo and I decided to try it tho it clicked with me so much faster. It cuts typical anime game tropes like air dash, double and super jumps for the much simpler assault and an intuitive tug of war mechanic to promote game flow.
Bbtag is way easier than this game I got this game a few days ago nd it is very difficult to get combos down consistently especially in online matches mainly because of the down, side down, left or right then button to do a decent combos and ends up leaving your fingers sore. I really think this game is cool but far to difficult for beginner's like myself that's y barely anyone plays this game online unlike bbtag
Stay Fly interactions like these are so cool to me! It’s so cool to see how different fighting games click for different people, so I think trying different games is always a good idea! Plus then you can improve the skills other games focus on and implement them in your game plan for other games 👍
The timing was messing me up! I'm glad it wasn't just me! I thought I was just getting old lol. I will keep grinding. This is an exciting game to see your progress in. I do think the tutorial is comprehensive but I don't know if I would say it's good. And that every little thing has its own name is pretty confusing lol
I wish I liked him, but his fighting style and graceful movements don't really appeal to me for some reason... Honestly it's hard for me to even pick a main, I've been looking for one but it's hard. The few characters I like are amazing but I suck at them I was trying Eltnum because she's so amazing at high levels but I keep screwing up her combos. Negative Edge on Hilda feels really odd and not sure how I would map my buttons on pad to fit her... Chaos is by far the coolest male character to me but azhi inputs hardly come out. The only character I can even somewhat play is Nanase, but her aesthetic is eh. Character struggles man
Dude I guarantee if you put in the time and effort you can be good at almost any character in this game, the first one i picked up was seth because I liked the way his combos looked, little did i know he was extremely difficult to play, but after a couple weeks of practice i was abled to pull of his combos consistently
Not sure if you're still playing UNI, but for pad I highly recommend mapping C to R1. I play Vatista and can actually do gem combos without breaking my thumb because of the remap.
Lol really basic combos in anime games? I can see where he's coming from they usually seem to be easier for execution but are more over the top. But go play guilty gear rev 2. Tell me it has basic combos even bbtag has some harder combos. Simplistic in concept I guess but azreal loops or some of agis stuff seems it can get pretty serious.
Duggy Thompson hey man I highly recommend you pick it up. Online lobbies are still fairly active during the day and if there are none (never seen no lobbies before) you can make one and peopel will join. Johnny is a really fun and deep character and after you put a bit of time into him the reward is massive and he’s so fun.
@@amircat1009 oh I have the game and I have played it quite a bit, but I have spent more time in the training mode learning new stuff and labbing with different characters then actually playing the game.
Something I really like about uniclr that I feel people don’t appreciate is special moves changing colour with the costumes I wish more games did that
It's fucking great. I remember a few exemples in some other games like BlazBlue where Jin's ice changes colors depending on which palette you choose but most character keep the same effect. But Unist is great and makes all effects change colors, it's a great attention to detail, I love it.
For real, having Enkidu use orange or white effects gives a completely different feeling
That is pretty cool
True.
even more than just special moves, for instance all of byakuya move change with different colors based on the color of his spikes
This is like playing an instrument. Some people will hit all the notes in a few minutes. Other people will spend years trying to get it right
Why didn’t anyone tell me Jin Kisaragi was a
DLC character for Uni?
oh literal tsuki
yo 3 DP's?
Cause he's Jin and mitsuru' baby
Sajam flies through these combos. Meanwhile I've been working in the merkava combos for a few days. Maybe someday I'll be able to sight read combos like that
Think about how much he's playing since this is his main thing. Take your time and grow at your own pace
Probably has thousands of hours in fighting games, give yourself a break.
The man with the amazing theme.
That's Every Guy In The Roster
This guy literally dances to his own theme.
Besides Being a Cryomancer And a Male Counterpart To Wagner He Is The More Flamboyant Between The Two
Nice attire, fat normals, projectile
Sounds perfect for me. Too bad I can't play him because THERES NO PC RELEASE YET
hey its out on pc now btw :)
the tutorial teaches you mix ups lmao
@Trayvon Collins I don't know it's what a tutorial should teach you but apparently that's bad
@@marrowyoutube It's the opposite I think
I wish I could breeze through the “4” missions as easily as you :) I need to work on my execution more.

His easy combos take me an hour each to do. Also didnt know uniclr was out.
Linne is where it's at after the update she's a beast

Is uniclr an update for unist or is it a whole new game?
9:04 LIGHT KICK!!!!!
Wait is this gonna be on pc
uniclr is expected and very likely to come to pc because the steam version files have been updated or something like that
when idk
no official statement which means you can just wait
Quiet buttons are dope 👌
👎
lol and I'm just sitting here with my mechanical keyboard waking up my entire neighborhood
I S E E
but does it have rollback?
No
Sadly, no.
Theyre working on rollback

Duggy Thompson yeah like Johnny In GG is one of the more intimidating execution wise too.
@@amircat1009 I haven't played Johnny very much but I'd like too I was kinda late to guilty gear unfortunately

He looks good but unfortunately I can't support dlc that is anything other than waifus
