Col AJ Raina is simply brilliant! I love his in-depth and factual analysis. There are very few so called “experts” on J&K who know the ground situation well, most don’t even know the difference between Jammu and Kashmir provinces!
And it is true, Kashmiris recognise other Kashmiris very well even without talking to them..! I have visited many places in India and Kashmiris always recognise me, a Kashmiri and come talking to me.

3 जम्मू क्षेत्र मे 1947-48 मे जो सफाई हुई है उसे पढ लीजिए। आज भी पाकिस्तान वाले उसे याद कर छाती पीटते है
4 आपको पता है या नही 370 के खिलाफ लड़ाई डोगरो ने ही लड़ी (कश्मीर वालो ने नही)
बलिदान भी दिया।
5 जम्मू वालो ने pojk, West Pakistan, chamb, kashmir के विस्थापित को अपने यहां सामाजिक रूप से भी समायोजित किया। आज हमारे उनके साथ पारिवारिक संबंध है।

I disagree with one thing ki jammu aaj bhi ignore ho raha hai. This is completely wrong. After 2019 we have now aiims, iit, iim ,refurbished cricket stadium, good roads, and moreover I am shocked too see the upgrade in sports facilities of all kinds in jammu. 2019 k pehle sab kuch bas kashmir me Banta tha. Aaj sab kuch jammu mein there are corporates may be not as big as tcs, hcl etc but we have corporates which was a far reality before 2019 in jammu.

15:45 Col.Raina is probably mixing Pothohari with Baramulla Pahari dialect.We speak Pothohari at home and by chance i had a chance to live with Baramulla people also and trust me its totally different language as POTHOHARI is much much similar to Punjabi or even Dogri but Baramulla Dialect is something different.
Yeah it's a seperate dialect spoken in barmulla
But it is classified as pothari

I was listening to this podcast very carefully, but I didn't expect that the guest will openly spread lies with so much of confidence!
I would like to correct the few statements made here by the guest:
1. Geelani's , Andrabi's and others did not came to Kashmir in 1947, however, few of them came with religious preachers around 12th century, even which is debatable today.
2. Nobody was paid 500 for throwing stones.
3. Begger system was introduced by Maharaja, not by Afghans, and which resulted in the revolt of 1931.
There are other faulty statements, however, I don't have time to correct them all.
Above all this, we are peace loving people, believe in unity, and nation building!

Present LG seems to be fatigued. The Administrative System is still under control of Separatists.
Col. Raina has hit the nail on the head by saying, Kashmir's problem is Islamic Jihaad. It's a long way to go. The present day Central Government is moving at a snail's speed. But at least they are doing something.

Only one side of the story!! Colonel talked about what Pakistan did and what they do now. But he didn't mention a single atrocity committed by the indian armed forces. It is this one-sided narrative that will never allow peace in Jammu & Kashmir. He speaks about the development, but its no use until the people of the Jammu & Kahmir are respected and listened to. Just like a birthday cake, our beloved land was cut into peices and each (India, Pakistan, China) took a piece of it. Mr Ajay Raia is Kahmiri Hindu, he should speak for this land and try to bring solace to the shattered hearts, insteaed of being biased.

I am from Jammu and I feel so sad that our Jammu is becoming very underrated because of Kashmir. Everyone talks about Kashmir but very rare people know about Jammu. I am happy that Kashmir is developing but no development is taking place in our Jammu despite of reason that people of Jammu always stand with India. Why there is so much inequality? Jammu should be a separate State if things go in this manner continously.
