Hi Mike, i have been shopping for a car and it was hard to go to dealerships and look for cars but somehow i ran into your channel online and it made my life easier. Thank you so much for the greatest detailed reviews :)
@@wavegod9387 😞 I’m assuming you’re asking about the 16? We traded it in about 2 months ago for a 22’ Rogue. It had 116,700 miles when we traded and no issues out of it. Much more reliable than my 2010 G6 Gt 3.5 I had hands down.
Just got my 16 Altima SR about a week ago! Loving the car so far. The car looks good enough for me! I think the SR looks the best out of all the other models. Plus the seats are the most comfortable seats I've ever sat in. That's what sets this car apart from the other cars in its class! Not the most sexy car but for a sedan it is not bad at all! The SR model Looks like a maxima, sentra and murano all combined in one
I've rented the 2016 Nissan Altima S this weekend, the car drove so good.I want one, and I was suprised of the gas mileage it gave for the car to be a double exaust pipe.
Did you get one? Its well worth it, I have a 16 Altima SR and it drives like a dream. Don't understand the CVT hate, it is super smooth like butter and the 2.5 motor is really sweet. It handles terrific too, with steering that is not too light or heavy. I don't even want to put many miles on it!!
a few questions: I see that it has the housing for the LED DRLS. can I get those installed on the 2017 model? are the headlights LED/XENON? are illuminated kicker plates available? is external ground lighting available? is interior ambient lighting available?
This is a nice car, looks nice when new and looks nice as a used car, the new Altima looks nice too. And so does the 2016-2023 Maxima, I’m just not a CVT fan.
Glove box=key usage lol oh and doors, I have the SR it's really good looking and I love it, i changed the speakers out for a audio system other than that it rides smooth
Good review. Only thing you missed is that 2016 Altima added a much needed grab handle on the inside of the trunk. It sounds like a small thing but A LOT of reviewers knocked the car for omitting this. ;-)
+Kyle Bernardez They had me questioning that they were halogen or HID/LED in this video: ruclips.net/video/6A4mZiEMvd8/видео.html They looked much whiter than average halogen bulbs.
if you guys had to choose between the Honda Accord sport or the nissan altima SR..which one would you guys choose? I'm having the hardest time choosing between the two
Honda Sport for sure. Looks better overall. Especially if you get total package with a great color and rims to match. Can’t beat it. I believe they come with a sunroof too.

I have always wondered with the lock/unlock button on the handle, can someone come up and hit that and open the door while you are inside? If you have someone trying to get in would that not be a safety concern or can it sense that you are inside and keep it from being opened?
I'm getting my first car, and I am looking for a brand new car around 25000 but preferably under to get me through college. Would this be a good car to do that?
Isaiah Olvera yo idk what your budget is now but you can get a 2015 golf gti or a 2013 autobahn edition but I would reccomend a 2012 or 2013 Jaguar XJ or a Subaru wrx sti
Ryan Zapp That is not a good financial decision at all. Jaguar reliablity is absolute shit and every car you mentioned would be pretty bad insurance-wise.
Hey Mike! I've seen your other video on the 2016 Honda Accord Sport. In your opinion, which car do you feel is the better buy considering all of the bells and whistles. I'm between these two cars, but I'm torn. Help!
Honda sport because it is a luxury version of Honda. So overall it looks and handles better. Nissan Altima SR is a class below it. Still a good car but their not in the same class.
Nice outward visibility, but what is with the material used on new cars with cloth seats, It's shiny and slick. The soft velour used in the past was classy and warm looking and didn't reflect the light. The all white instrument lights are boring, they need some color like my Jetta, with indigo blue dials with red switches, it looks cool at night. Yes white is supposedly better on the eyes, but they don't have to be all white. Mike, you had the a quick view going underneath the car, but it didn't show much. Get the cars up on a lift to view the Chassis, type of Suspension, Subframes and Exhaust.
+ron mortensen Hi Ron! I don't have access to a lift so I am experimenting with some under-the-car shots. Check out my new Scat Pack video... I think it shows the underside of the car better than this video. ruclips.net/video/7e1JUcwbKZY/видео.html
+MikesCarInfo Mike, I checked out the Scat Pack video. If you have a relationship with these car dealers, they may borrow you a lift for 10 minutes. Another way would be to use a small portable hydraulic jack with wheels. I have one that is about, 8 in. wide by 1-1/2 ft. long and comes in case. You'd just turn the wheels and jack up the front corner, and you would get a pretty good view of the suspension and side of the subframe. Do the same on the back, and just shoot upward behind the rear wheel. You could get a fairly good idea of the suspension structure this way. Edmunds Suspension Walkaround did this when he didn't have a lift. Check his site out, but I don't think he does them anymore. This probably seems like a lot of work, but it's easier than it sounds. I used to do this to all my families cars. I'd love to help you do this, but I live in central Utah.
Thanks, Mike! Great job on your videos! Just recently found your channel on a google search for 2014 altima reviews. I'm now subscribed and will be binge watching your videos this weekend! Looking forward to your future vids!
It really does though. When I can take corners, off-ramps etc at 45+ without any fuss and accelerate quicker than a stock Charger RT let alone half the idiots on the road I classify it as sporty. The handling and acceleration alone make it surpass expectations for a "sports car". This is with my '09 3.5SL. (P.S. Nobody likes elitists)
Depends. Maxima SL is the luxury version so you will get a better look overall in the Maxima. Possibly better HP but less mpgs. So it depends on what you need. Both great cars but different classes. So they cater to different needs.
+Seifer Almasy Calm down... Yes it is a little light. I forgot to show it in my Altima video but here is the same thing in the Maxima ruclips.net/video/InKWsuFBo-Q/видео.htmlm25s
Looks good exterior design wise interior I like the fabric that they used for the seats and floor mats. But a lot of the plastic interior parts look cheap and the tech is pretty cheap. Examples: shifter, the analog gauge cluster, the center stack, and the door trim. My 2015 Honda Civic ex is way nicer but does have some stuff I don't like as well.
+Brandon Hutchinson There is a removable cover on the driver's side door handle that conceals a key hole. Also, the glove compartment is lockable with the key.
Ah ok thanks didnt think about the glove compartment, hate to lose the whole key then have to pay for the fob and the key. Great videos btw watch em daily
+Jeff Lewis I think it would be neat if they offered several different styles for people to choose from. The electronics can be the same on the inside but the outer plastic housing can be different. Maybe have one that can clip-on a key ring like a carabiner!
I like the pillow Chef was too but I want you to do a night video and how you ship to gills on the palace ship and keep God in your life all the time 2018. Real love going onto 2018-2019 but tell me more about that car.

literaltrash that’s how I would describe mine
@@louiskemner3216 Why is that?
@@texan903 simply because I'm not super picky about cars and I"m not an enthusiast. If a car looks good and drives well, that's pretty much all I need

I just have to say one two things! Perfect review, and get this man a raise! Well done sir. 😊
i really like your videos cause whenever i want to search for any car i always end up with your videos and i think your the best at this

Do you mean efficient 2.5?
Alexander1485 do u even have q car u just post other people cars 🤣

How’s the car now?
On my 16 SR, if you're in the regular drive selection, when you grab either paddle it will engage the manual shift
Wow, you can change the color of the car with a steering wheel button? How cool is that!

great light review question : does it still have that crappy white light that is suppose to shine down on the cup holders?

Does it have engine start on the key so you don't have to press the button?
Good review. Only thing you missed is that 2016 Altima added a much needed grab handle on the inside of the trunk. It sounds like a small thing but A LOT of reviewers knocked the car for omitting this. ;-)
