Two extra things I thought about just now - After taking out goblins and bandits or groks and bandits, you can start focusing on hunting down the skills you're interested in for your build. Some mobs might be too tough to solo at an early stage and may need a group. In the tutorial you'll earn knowledge points for doing the questlines so that is also another thing to get KP from early. After that, its mostly the other three methods. Hope this helps! If you're in need of a trial key for 7 days access to Fractured, here's some more below! Great guide and a great game, been a while since I got hooked into a game system like this! Especially the skill system and learning new abilities/spells 👌
can I move the furniture that I place in my house? I haven't reached that point yet because I've been dying to bandits, but I'm getting there. watching this now
@@meltdowninteractivemedia Heyo! It should work. Was able to find some people talking about it a few months ago. There should be an option "use my monitors resolution" that should do the trick.
When you click into the preset (talents or skills) you can hold ctrl + click any of the skill or talent icons and it'll assign it to the preset picture section. Took me a few days before I actually read that!
Hey man, I just started the game and I learned how to summon a bear and wolf. How do I get these animals to attack for me? I summoned the wolf but all it does is just follow me around and doesn't attack the mobs i'm attacking. Another thing, how do i use any healing or magic skills. I tried equipping a healing spell but it says I need to equip a shield with spell channelling or something.
Heyo!! Welcome to the game. You can control them by using the number keys (1-4). While you have them summoned, you will see icons pop up with those numbers below your health/mana bar. 1 - Commands them to follow 2 - Commands them to defend you and attack your target 3 - Turns them aggressive 4 - Makes them attack the mob you're hovering over. And regarding spells, you either need a staff or a melee weapon capable of casting spells, that's correct. It used to be spell channeling was all that was needed which is a trait you can get on weapons, but I'm not sure if that's still the case. I've heard that you can definitely cast spells with a scimitar and round shield at the moment though.
@@SerMedieval hey thanks for the reply. I figured out I was using the primitive shield which isnt meant for spell channelling, that's why i couldn't use any healing or magic spells. Yeah I saw the pop up icons when I summoned the pet. Thanks man. I'm kinda sad that I couldn't make a ret paladin using 2h weapons with heals. I have to use a staff or 1h with shield.
@@ryuno2097 No problem and yeahh I just double-checked in-game. Only scimitars, quarterstaves, wooden clubs, maces and rapier will allow you to spell channel while wielding them. It used to be a trait you could get for weapons. Hopefully that becomes available again in the future for 2hs. I'd love to see something like that too.
I'd say less grindy than other survival sandbox mmos on the market like albion/mortal, but more grindy than themepark mmos. Most people that have been playing 5-6 hours a day since launch are 40-50 with 50 being the max, and its only been about two weeks. But the true grind comes from orbs, obtaining skills, and perfecting your gear after + gaining god favor by running the trials.
That's the orb/proficiency system. When you open divine rewards/legendary/corrupted/etc you have a chance to get them and then you can consume them in your rank menu to permanently increase whichever magic school or weapon you had an orb for. Proficiency is tied to the imbuing system for your gear (quite complex). I plan to make a vid for it at some point but the link in the description that goes over the imbue/crafting guides is a really good place to start. And fracturedbase's imbue calculator.

Looks good to me. Now head to bed so you can be ready to help me later today with this house setup
so I took a good look at that imbuing table in the guide link and um... yeah I'm gonna need some more time before I can understand that ._.
Its actually not super bad once you try it out.
Watching your vids on this convinced me to buy it. Just started playing.

Thank you for the information.
Played durring early access, wasn't sure about some of the changes, but looks like giving the game a chance again will be worth my while
Great guide!
Thank you so much 🙏!
Game's really impressed me so far despite the indie jank. Appreciate the content for it.
thanks for the info super helpful
@@Grumpskin Thank you so much for watching 🙏!!

Yup you can. There's an arrow icon when you select furniture that should allow you to move it to wherever its placeable.
Thanks for the nice video. I've been thinking about getting this, but is 3440x1440 widescreen monitors supported?

Building a house takes so long in this game. SO long. But I'm kinda enjoying it...
ty for the vid

So there's no PVP starting planet right now? thought I heard there would be.
Tartaros isn't out at the moment but its still planned/listed on the roadmap.

No questing in this game?
Haven't bought the game or anything but I find it weird that you can't dual wield daggers. Looks weird with only 1
what is in the cash shop?
Only armor skins (not actual skins, but recolors that can be applied to all armor), mount skins, optional VIP.
