They always level up their performance 'cause they always loved to surprise their audience of a new experience. That's how perfect they are. Hiya, Nurz! 😄 Entertained by this extra energetic episode of NPS! Yeah, I was moving with you there, vibing to GENTO, which was reflected in the bouncy effects you/your team edited in. SB19 actually did their performances on THE FIRST TAKE when they were in Japan (as part of their PAGTATAG! world tour) at the end of April earlier this year -- but the videos were only released this month. SB19 is the first Filipino (and Southeast Asian) act to have been invited to that popular Japanese RUclips music channel (with nearly 10M subscribers). It's something of a big deal, since THE FIRST TAKE has built up its reputation based on its setup that's focused on live vocals, combined with the concept of allowing the invited artist only one chance ("the first take is the final take") to nail their performance. So it's a test that separates the best from the rest! So the SB19 guys were understandably a little nervous at the start. But, come on, this is SB19 -- live vocal monsters, who've done the Wish Bus so many times. As Pablo said there at the end, they "ATE THAT" up (like a bento)! 🍱 As a neat contrast to GENTO, as an upbeat track from their hype set list -- SB19 also performed a ballad on The First Take to showcase their vocal versatility. They chose to sing their most popular song, MAPA (judging from its lyric video, which reached 100 million views last week) and the performance was actually released just yesterday. Of course, you should check that one out too, stat! 💉
