Don’t buy PIZZA SAUCE OR PASTA SAUCE !! Make the easiest homemade Pizza & Pasta Sauce

4 to 5 Tomatoes (Blanch by making a cross cut at the bottom & put it in boiling hot water for just 2 mins, this is to remove the skin)
1 Fine Chopped Onion
6 to 8 cloves of Garlic
3 to 4 Kashmiri Red Chillies (add one spicy for the kick)
1 tsp Oil
Salt & Pepper
Some basil leaves
For a jain version - Just skip the onion & garlic, add a little celery instead

- Add basil leaves or any herb of your choice towards the end
- Let the sauce simmer after adding tomatoes & water for just 5 mins
- Remember, the sauce will thicken a bit as it cools down
- Store in a clean jar upto 1 week in the fridge
