i like how dark matter’s voice is monotone, since dark matter usually has that half-lidded eye, like it’s bored with everything
This also makes scenes in the fact that dark matter was created through intense feelings of sadness and lonelyness. Basically its depressed
Considering how cold and empty Dark Matter is said to be, the apathetic tone of voice is chillingly fitting.
And the fact it has multiple voices singing at once? It nails the hive mind nature of Dark Matter as a whole, how they're all just a part of Zero.

1:50 I love the little gag with Dark Nebula here. It's like:

Same. To be honest, i somehow missed it several times when watching. I only recently noticed it at a passing glance.
My videos are infamous for having little gags, references, and well timed gaming footage to go with the music.
"Jealousy consumes me"
A reference to Original Dark Matter Blade's first motive. They wanted to be friends with everyone on Popstar, and then they grew jealous, since they couldn't say *_be my friend_*
The one thing I would change is all the "I"s, "Me"s and "My"s to "Us" "We" and "Our", because dark matter is more of a collective than an individual

And the best part is Dark Matter in canon does actually consider the Rainbow Sword a potent weapon, it’s what he uses in Robobot for his weapon.

The real joke is Dark Nebula
I remember someone mentioning that dark nebula was hyped up to be all powerful, just to be garbage, seeing jj Jameson laughing at him at the in whatever form I take was hilarious
Amazing job! It really captured that feeling of Dark Matter being this monotonous void of negativity. I personally think that referring to itself as a single entity was the right move, considering we are likely hearing this from Dark Matter... knight? Is that how he was called? Anyway, they are already so capsuled off from the usual Dark Matter and most importantly Zero, that they might actually be... themself, as weird as this sounds.
Dark Matter: *I AM THE GOD OF DESTRUCTION, I WILL CONSUME THIS UNIVERSE, NOBODY CAN STOP ME-*

Light Matter is a matter of positive feelings that can empower those born of said emotions
Dark Matter is a matter of negative emotions, his only weakness is Weapons that bless the light, Light Matter can be more powerful than Dark Matter.

One detail I like about the Dark Matter Clone in the True Arena is that you can beat him with any ability. This would look weird at first since you would think only the rainbow sword is the only weapon you could use againts it, giving the assumption that only that blade could harm it...until you realize the Dark Matter clone is using that same sword.

So potent the Dark Matter clone chose to use the only weapon that makes it vulnerable againts either Kirby or Meta Knight.
I know people say that Dark Matter is the overarching main villain of the entire Kirby series, rather than Zero, simply because we fight more of it than the latter
I have one thing to say to that.
The Gaang fight more against Azula during ATLA, yet Ozai’s still the main villain of the entire series despite literally having *ONE* fight scene in the entire series. (I know Azula had a dramatic final fight too, but Ozai’s still takes the cake for ‘theatrics’ and ‘feelings of a final battle’)
Except… Zero IS a dark matter? Dark Matter is the species. The one you fight in DL2 is the swordsman

But if that’s not what you’re trying to say, then I’ll re-elaborate what I said.
Basically some people say that the common Dark Matter (The Swordsman and others like it) are the central antagonists of the entire Kirby series, simply due to the fact we fight them more. My comment was meant to give reason otherwise. But I DO know that Zero is Dark Matter. What makes him so different? Well he literally generates it, and until we see a different source to the Dark Matter we’ve been seeing, currently Zero seems to be the source of all Dark Matter in the universe. Unless this is proven wrong, and I will be perfectly fine if it is

About Dark Nebula. Does his easy defeat say something about him… or Kirby? To be fair when it comes to the one attack (mostly) Kirby games, this is the strongest Kirby and the player have ever been. And Kirby continuously improves within that game. I like to think by the time Dark Nebula enters the game Kirby has grown too much.
That's an interesting and fair way to think of it.

Dark Nebula was sealed away for who knows how long, so it's possible that it's strength may have once been great, but had diminished over time.

Why does it uses Dark Matter swordman's theme even though, like Gooey, they're not affiliated to the rest of the Dark Matters of the trilogy (+DarkNebula)? The lyrics fit more for the other Dark Matters and the Zeros than for them (except for "Jealousy Consumes me. Fall before My dark sword." which references Dark Matter swordsman's motivation and weapon).

I freaking love Dark Matter and I don't know why. I'm sad to see that neither he(? I actually don't know Dark Matter's gender or whether he even has a gender or not) nor his kind have been revived in any of the new Kirby games. Unless you're confusing Void with Dark Matter or something, because they are definitely not the same entity, although Dark Matter is in fact a reincarnation of a reincarnation of Void, so they do have ties with each other. They ain't the same though.
Technically they aren't exacly the same, but it's heavily implied that Dark Matter is linked to Void since Void literally turns into forms resembling Dark Matter.
