Just saw y'all in Silver Spring with Baroness two days ago. Had never heard of you before that night, but I caught your set and it was mindblowing. The kind of energy you had on stage, the grooves, the way the backing vocalists just added so much to the sound, had me diving into all your music ever since I got home. I've never been a fan of black metal, but the way you fuse it with soul and blues, which I've loved since I started playing music, creates such a fresh and so deeply explorable sound. Thank you for such great music.
A godly show for sure. Baroness was in perfect form too, and I was so glad to see how good Gina's chemistry is with the rest of the band. She's got the chops for sure (anybody who can play the chorus leads for March To The Sea and sing backup at the same time has my undying respect) but the vibe between her and John was like they'd known each other their whole lives.
