It's only now I learned that this song is a revision of 'Green Sally, Up'. I love such reworks/reconceptualization so much!
I almost said "too many singers," but the field holler aspect of his music wouldn't work with less, unless you're playing with backing tracks (which is done more than you know).

Was there too and broke out in tears of joy, that's how good they were. They took even more power and aggression to the stage than Mantar which is a very bold statement. Sounded like they turbocharged all their songs.

Just saw y'all in Silver Spring with Baroness two days ago. Had never heard of you before that night, but I caught your set and it was mindblowing. The kind of energy you had on stage, the grooves, the way the backing vocalists just added so much to the sound, had me diving into all your music ever since I got home. I've never been a fan of black metal, but the way you fuse it with soul and blues, which I've loved since I started playing music, creates such a fresh and so deeply explorable sound. Thank you for such great music.

A godly show for sure. Baroness was in perfect form too, and I was so glad to see how good Gina's chemistry is with the rest of the band. She's got the chops for sure (anybody who can play the chorus leads for March To The Sea and sing backup at the same time has my undying respect) but the vibe between her and John was like they'd known each other their whole lives.
Saw you guys at Download. Best band on the Dogtooth stage. Best of luck for the future. You guys rule!
