  • The SlickPixels.com team along with our friends from Survival U recently had the opportunity to join the A-10 Demo Team at Fairchild Air Force Base in Spokane, Washington. It was an incredible weekend of flying fun, made particularly special as 2024 represents the final year of official USAF flight demonstrations of the A-10 Thunderbolt II.
This video features A-10 Demonstration pilot Lindsay "Mad" Johnson in an interview with our own John "Slick" Thow.
Please be sure to like and subscribe, it really does help our videos reach more viewers which helps us to keep the content you look forward to coming on a regular basis. Stay tuned for more Survival U coming soon.
A very special thanks to Zach Turner for many of the amazing B-Roll and to the Slickpixels.com for the combined team effort on this one. There is a lot of work that goes into the making of a video like this and we appreciate you taking the time to watch.

They had A10's at Misawa Air Base Japan, back in 1984...
Not sure if they have them now, but I respected the A10, a great aircraft...!

Totally agree. I remember the A-10s at Richards-Gebaur AF base in the 70s and 80s. It's amazing that this aircraft still provides ground cover today.
