on ds1 (power within) but on ds2, i never really got much into it.
I know fire is the "worst" damage type in DkS2, in terms of most resisted element. . . but that doesn't stop me from forbidden sun spamming things to death anyway.
What is the best demage type?

this really only matters for NG+ runs and PvP though, as that's where you're going to be focusing on eking out as much damage as you can.
I love how pyromancies are the only spell type that has good dlc spells, wish the other ones wouldn't have been so bad. Splintering lightning spear is so cool.

and yet he missed one of the 3 dlc pyromancies, the one given by nadalia's 12 pieces soul

DS2 always makes me smile with some of the creative spells. Even if they were bad (looking at you splintering lightning). The constant push of ideas is what has the cheese pews of current Gen FromSoft and will evolve with every new ip.
To me the B team is actually the goat.
Well it’s unfortunate that they’ve abandoned this design philosophy for lazy mainstream creative decisions

DS2 stumbled and fell on its face repeatedly so DS3 and beyond could run.
Now that the quadrillogy is complete I got a good feeling about the minmaxed powerstanced blue flame build, got my fingers crossed🫣
Been loving these spell videos man! Pyro is probably my least used build across all the souls games but this makes me wanna try it out more

I randomly stumbled across your DS2 videos about a month ago. DS2 was my first Souls game so it has a special place in my heart and I like seeing others still making videos on it. This video in particular I really enjoyed because in my very first playthrough I used Pyromancies in tandem with my Strength build and it was so fun despite all the dying that occured during that playthrough. 😂

The dark pyro flame only does like 20 more damage when you're fully hollow so it's really not worth it to use

If you're gonna have high hp then maybe it'd be fine but yeah. Ngl I have been tempted to make a high hp hollow pyromancer.

I also noticed that the one merchant in Majula sells armor of certain slain bosses particularly when after you slain them proficiently like Lost Sinner, Looking Glass Knight, Smelter Demon, and Velstadt. I have all those armors with my current best character as of now

My first full playthrough of DS2, I had a Strength build with Pyromancy on the side. Always preferred the explosives over magic, lightning, and darkness. So seeing a pure pyro build is nice.

Pyromancies are fun, my magic master(glass cannon mixed caster build that can be any of the four elements) who is in ng+2 can cast 6 forbidden suns and still fit flame weapon

I have a physical copy of SotFS for PS4 but gave that system to my son when I got a PS5. So…after watching these badass videos I’m going to spend another $40 to get a digital copy so I can play immediately. Watching your content I miss my beloved DS2. I last finished it in July/August 2020, and it’s been too long. I want to try out a bunch of these builds. Thanks dude. You’ve inspired me. Big Ups!

When it comes to DS2 Yaz the man to beat! Legend.
Soft cap for Fire bonus is Int + Fth = 60 (so 30/30, 40/20, 10/50, etc) makes it easy to incorporate into other builds. If you go 30/30 you can also incorporate dark damage too.
you could have spent more of those levels into attunement for more casts or into survivability
