Out of all the caster builds, this one here gets my vote. Awesome showcase, my guy. Still on the other side of the fence though, I'm a thorough melee player but man, you fried those enemies sans Fume Knight. He got AC on his armour. Looking forward to the next build.
Soft cap for Fire bonus is Int + Fth = 60 (so 30/30, 40/20, 10/50, etc) makes it easy to incorporate into other builds. If you go 30/30 you can also incorporate dark damage too. you could have spent more of those levels into attunement for more casts or into survivability

On the Chariot boss I just sat in an alcove and put Lingering Flame on the track and the boss just ate it up everytime he passed by. Then I gave him the finishing blow when he was hanging on for dear life on the edge of the ledge. 😂 Love this spell.
I randomly stumbled across your DS2 videos about a month ago. DS2 was my first Souls game so it has a special place in my heart and I like seeing others still making videos on it. This video in particular I really enjoyed because in my very first playthrough I used Pyromancies in tandem with my Strength build and it was so fun despite all the dying that occured during that playthrough. 😂
I also noticed that the one merchant in Majula sells armor of certain slain bosses particularly when after you slain them proficiently like Lost Sinner, Looking Glass Knight, Smelter Demon, and Velstadt. I have all those armors with my current best character as of now

Don’t worry about optimising pyro builds in ds2. It’s not the best build in the game, if you really wanted to do an optimised pyro build you should do a hybrid build with pyro and physical. Otherwise you can only go so far with it

My first full playthrough of DS2, I had a Strength build with Pyromancy on the side. Always preferred the explosives over magic, lightning, and darkness. So seeing a pure pyro build is nice.
A bit late to tell this, but pyro's softcap is int+faith=60, so 30 in each is the softcap, 60 in each gets you 120, which is way higher, not needed unless you want to use all the sorceries and miracles too.
