Was notified yesterday but video was “not available.” Glad to see it’s up. Those low ready positions are pretty high and already pressed out so that saves a lot of time. I’ll try it that way.
I like using this with new shooters as a low round count way to demonstrate progress. I’ll have them shoot it cold at the beginning of a practice session and then again afterwards.
Would be nice to see more videos where you show things you can do at an indoor range. This rapid fire stuff is something you get yelled at for doing and outdoor ranges are not readily available
A little clarification here? My training has always stated that low ready is the position in which you are able to move and see your forward terrain . In all my years of training I have never heard you lower your weapon below a suspects waistline? But I look forward to attempting this drill.
I feel bad for you Chris. You put a lot of effort into this stuff, but the RUclips liberal nazis just overpower anything that "promotes violence." Like they keep anything gun related out of 90+% of peoples recommended videos to watch. Keep up the good work while you can, big fan of you and your content.
I’m so glad this channel promotes peace! Peace of mind. Peace of preparedness. Peace of hand eye coordination. Peace of my family because I’m challenged to handle life better through a plethora of information an tools for growth so that my piece can help keep the peace should of be broken. Peace out man.
Whoa, why did you trim down your awesome tacticool beard, Chris? Now you just look like your average awkward everyday millennial! You going for a more "grey-man" look?
Need to have the shooters NOT be in a ready stance. I do no think they will be standing in public looking like that. They should not be facing the target, the time to start shooting should be random, they should be doing other body motions while they wait (clapping hands?), be given no more than a one second warning where they prep to engage the target, then be given the command to shoot the sequence.
First time I saw it too, John! You killed me on it. :)
It was truly illuminating to compare this drill to FBI qualification drill that you presented some weeks ago.

I like this one. Will definitely be using it soon! Thanks!
Much better than yesterday's upload. Gotta love that ending too lol
👍🏼. I like this, I will try it. Definitely seems like one of the better practical drills.
in all of the "start shooting better" episodes, John waves and when Chris says "citizens defense research", John stares at the ground for a fat minute

Indoor ranges are the worst

Can you make a video about the use of red dots. Thank you.
Awesome info, as always, strong n positive content!!! :-)
Hey John, what holster are you using for that g34?
This one finally looks challenging. I gotta try it.
It is. I consider myself a good shooter and I do just fine first three strings. Last one gets me everytime. I've yet to pass it.
Thanks. I noticed that too. :)
Hey guys, I am curious, what sort of music are you using in videos these days? Royalty free?
Yes
Any tracks you use in particular? I know I have heard several of them in a few videos.
Centrifuge hat!!! Yes!!!
Dumb question but how did you stick the paper target on the cardboard?
Josiah Clark 3M’s model 45 or 77 spray-on adhesive probably.
Yeah, spray adhesive.

Pew pew
What happened with this video? I got the alert but then the video was taken down. Now, it's back. What content did RUclips find inappropriate?
Wasn't RUclips. I messed up the first upload and had to redo it.

It was the result of an ill-advised facial hair experiment.
Haha. Does that mean you're going to grow it back out?
