Little long story about the Car Hunt: Once upon a time, Car Hunt used to be awesome. If you grinded hard, you could get a free car on number 14, but you did not have to do all the quests. You could miss a few and still get the car. It was fun to collect the cars, not because you really needed the low level cars, but just to own them for the lols. Now the 'free' car is on number 19. It is not possible to get it by just grinding hard. You have to buy coins to get it, so it is not free anymore. For weeks and weeks we can stare at the DS E-tense, a not so pretty low level D-class car with no color-options or decals. Today I wondered what would happen if I just bought the coins and get the car: Would they offer a different car in the next Car Hunt? So I did buy 300 coins in Offers, together with 100k fusion and 100k credit coins. I wrongfully thought I would get the car even though I have not finished all the Quests. I still need 5 Quests: still have to win 5 times in Gauntlet. Right now I have 1131 points, but I need 1152, that's with the 300 coins I bought. I have only one day left, 10 tries, to get 5 wins in Gauntlet and competing with 5 S-cars fully upgraded, 9308 in total, you get very stiff competition. It is not easy to win a race, because you have only 1 chance to defeat very good drivers who have been doing several races to get 1 really good time. (as I do myself) This is no fun at all. I regret buying the coins. I did not buy them for the D-class car, but I just wondered what car they would offer next time if I already 'won' (bought) the D-S E-tense. Car Hunt used to be fun. Grinding to get a free car; not a car you really need, but fun to collect. It made people actually do many races, which is good for the game, because the more people play, the better it is for the game itself, because there is a large group playing. Now Car Hunt is, if you do not want to invest real money into it, totally useless. Also, if you do invest money and buy 300 coins; you better make sure you have completed all the Quests, because Gameloft expects you to do ever last one of them AND buy the coins, for that so-called 'free car'. Right now, I have to hope I somehow win 5 races in Gauntlet, with only 10 chances left. I'm not the best player, so most likely I will not be able to achieve that. Most of us are not able to win most races in Gauntlet, simply because you have only one chance, to beat the best time of someone who did as many tries needed to set a very challenging time. If I do not succeed, I will buy more coins, (call me stupid) but also, will never do so again. I do not really need a D-class car, do not want to spend money on it, and also: Car Hunt totally becomes a gameplay that is not interesting at all, making me grind less hard, making the active online playerbase less large, simply because people will play less. For the record: I play daily and also buy the racingpasses regularly and spend real money on things I am interested in. I love the game, but Gameloft needs to wake up. Don't destroy the format by trying to get every last penny for no value. Try selling more for less and please: Make the Car Hunt doable and maybe think of something to make the Gauntlet more competitive. Most of us are not the best, so competing with the best time of someone invested, mostly results in a loss. We only play that gamemode for the tokens and the dice. It’s funny to see this having a rerun SE on Switch, and since I got my gold SR1, I think I can unlock it, even though packs are somewhat of a unicorn feature in Switch. In MP, it’s more frustrating to see players purposely 360ing knock because you’re minding your own business and boom, some salty player literally ruined it than small mistakes you make, or the subway from Paris pushing you to the divide and messing you up, reducing your chances to get the tokens from the series score.
I got it from its first Festival run many years ago. Still at stock. Ajlani is based in the UAE, so you're not wrong with the Drakuma looking like the Lykan Hypersport!
Yeah. And the price increment isn't justified. If you could get the coupon at tier 2 or so, then at least you could say "ah, it's more expensive in money because it's car + coupon" but not even that. Goddamn coupon is impossible to get.
They are about the same in terms of speed, but in theory the AM should be an overall better car given the higher rank. But I really don't know for sure
