  • This episode we took y'all behind the scenes to show you a little bit of what goes into getting the boats ready for summer, then got some amazing drone shots to show you all exactly what we look for when searching for new spots to fish in the bay! Our bays are so big and there is so much unexplored coastline where these fish can be caught! We don't post all the trips we take and get skunked so keep that in mind y'all are seeing the highlights and best of the best here! This was Taylors first trout of 2024 and the first session Jeff caught multiple trout and that bite only lasted about 90 minutes! Also we're working on an "exclusive members club" of sorts so we can share spots with those of you who need spots to fish or don't have the time to scout for new spots! Stay tuned for that, hit subscribe, follow on IG @alwaysbentfishingoc to stay up to date! Also leave us a comment if you liked this video or have ideas for the future or something specific you'd like to see! can't thank y'all enough for the support recently!!!! PS this marsh is private property, we aren't trying to keep this spot from you all, just respecting the land owners wishes!! There are lots of different areas even better than this spot!!

The drone shots really define the mud break. I get bored at work and research a lot of the points closer to OC trying to think of new spots. I like fishing the ledges in the ditch. There are some deep ledges and that current gets ripping up there sometimes.

Man y’all went above and beyond with this one. The drone footage helped a lot. I just moved back from the mountains so I’m trying to learn everything I can about coastal fishing. Would you mind sharing what your rod/reel/line setup is for this? I’m not really sure what would be overkill or not enough. Thanks fellers

Awesome! Thank you! Glad you enjoyed! I use a 7-7'6 Medium rod and 2000-3000 size reel with 10-15lb braid maybe even 20lb no more than that, and anywhere from 10lb to 30lb fluro for leader!
