this is the best intro song i have seen online yet.
I agree!
Very catchy tune 😊
😂😂😂 Really
My feet are so flat they could pass as pancakes
Excellent Video! Forgive me for butting in, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you thought about - Mackorny Feet Ahead Blueprint (erm, check it on google should be there)? It is a good exclusive product for Relieving foot pain minus the hard work. Ive heard some decent things about it and my good mate called Gray after many years got astronomical success with it.

That’s what I’m talkin about my feet are flat as shit
I've had to use a can since I was 24 my feet have fucked my knees, hips and back so bad. Even orthotics from the doctor and motion control shoes haven't fixed it. In fact my feet pronate so much they destroy boots made for builders with reinforced heels and steel shanks and the inside of my heels are worn to a 45 degree angle. I'm lucky if a pair lasts a few months. I also have extremely painful bunions. I was offered surgery as a 7 or 8 year old but didn't understand enough about how my feet would affect me to make that call and can't do it now as my disability was taken away and I can't not work for months to recover.
I went into the Army with flat feet and duck feet. I didn’t know any better and all we did was run, run, and run some more. Not even a year and a half in I have tremendous knee pain that will not go away. It will disappear if I’m very inactive but eventually I walk up a flight of stairs or so
Same here brother. Went into the Army with flat feet and our PL would have us do 6 mile runs every other day and rucks in between for EIB.
I get painful knees due to what I presume is flat feet. My knees hurt nearly every day and I’m 25 years old.
Me too. How's everything? Im at bed with a horrible knee pain
@@taty_h2h486 I have used a walking stick since I was 24 it's that bad.
I use motion control insoles and they have been a god send as I’ve decided surgery is no longer necessary. Flat feet suck!
Me too
I'm 24 and I'm at my wits ends with this. Any changes or?
I was looking at videos on flat feet & took into consideration that "possibly just possibly" acquiring flat feet over time may have been the cause of my knee valgus & thanks to your video I got my answer, you guys are the real deal
For real! I would often supinate my flat feet to take the pressure off my (hyperextended) knock knees. I'm in my 40s now & now everything hurts from my ankles up.
I’m in jrotc and we do a lot of marching and standing for maybe hours and my feet, knees, and lower back are in GREAT PAIN but now I KNOW WHAT TO GET! Thank you! 💛😭
Thanks for the video. Im flat footed and I get knee pain most is the time especially my right knee thanks for the explanation.
Exact same with me, right knee hurts the most
My left knee gets the worst😐
How can we fix it man I'm 24 and my knees are killing me
Same with me
@physicaltherapyvideo Me, a patient with severe flat feet who had five surgeries, was just told by my doctor that it's IMPOSSIBLE for me to have problems in my knees, hips and lower back from my feet smh. This all happened when i was 17 after i joined the Army.
SMH too! Your doctor is absolutely wrong and should never have told you that.
Wow as a 24 year old I have hip pain due to this in which my doctor stated I needed surgery, something that isn’t a realistic option for me. The pain feels very similar to sciatica but happens to both legs. It’s just crazy
Same thing I'm going crazy for it, have you found a solution?
my feet are so flat its like a reverse arch
I feel your pain
Fr my shits flat as fuck
Same here
Flat feet, duck feet, knock knee, severe pain in hip, back, neck i have all. Sometimes feel so frustrated
Try hip thrusts , squats , lunges , grow your glutes , also stretch!!! Stretch your hamstrings , calves , and ankles A LOT!!! You can reduce that pain , it just takes a bit of exercise over a few months
you've helped me with my tailbone problem.... I trust you with my flatfoot problem too
I just want to cry:-( Darn Genetics
Exactly the thought of not being normal is what makes me suffer.
Moe Joe 2.0 its not that serious lol theres surgery you can get to fix flat feet if you feel really bad about them :)
@@lararobin6725 not everyone can afford surgery tho

I have flat feet and my legs are hurting right now
i have flat feet, causes problems in my hips when i walk it clicks
For me it hurts as if a needle is pinching through, did you find a solution 6 years after?
Oh my god I never knew shoes could bend like that! I’ve been flat footed my whole life and it’s caused knock knees
Great video, thank you! I have extremely high arches but hubby has flat feet so I am always on the look-out for good info to help him. Thank you for the help, I will try to get him to find a pair of motion control shoes.
Would you be willing to re-do this so we can actually hear Brad? Really appreciate your channel and am battling this issue. Thanks!
Omg the beginning is killing me 😂😂😂
The video I didn't know I needed. Answered practically all my questions instantly from one Google search.
Thanks to you and your awesomely cheesy intro jingle!!
Being overweight can also contribute flat feet or to planter fasciitis causing pain behind the knee and also pain in the hips healthy dieting and exercise is the way to start not the gym
Me with severe flat feet: ah yes, it makes so much sense now 😂 when I was 13 my doctor said if negative arch were possible I would have it my feet are so bad. I work in a warehouse and let me tell ya if my shoes go bad, my feet absolutely kill me, and if I don’t wear my insoles for a few days in a row I even struggle a little.
I think my arches fell when I didn’t have proper support working on my feet all day. Knee pain has been my norm now
What do you mean arches fell ?
There is pt u can do for that
Great information. I've learned more from you than any of the 7 podiatrists and 1 ortho I've consulted for this problem. They were ZERO help, gave me conflicting information, and basically had an indifferent attitude. Thanks for all your help. I'm going to try a New Balance motion control shoe, the 928v3, along with either a Powerstep or Spenco Total Support Max orthotic and see if my situation improves -- fallen arches, peroneal tendonitis and insertional achilles tendonitis/bursits. Hoping for improvement and relief from this daily agony. Thanks again.
I have very flat feet, and growing up my knees would dislocate. Now that I am 37, have developed a bunion, and lower back pain. I was wondering if there is a way to build the muscle that due to its absence we all have flat feet. I also have noticed my hips aren't aligned. Can you make a video on how to realign hips?
Did you find a solution to that? I think I messed up my hips from leaving my flat feet untreated and I was wondering if there was a way to fix it or if I'm screwed.
Ivonne Martinez Are you hyper mobile? EDS? (Ehlers Danlos Syndrome)
I am 13 and have flat feet. I play hockey and am now on a one month break. I did not do any strenuous activities. Yet my knee hurts like it has never before. I am worried as I do not want to and cannot quit hockey. please help
Anbazhagan S id talk to a podiatrist, they might suggest that you wear orthotics in your shoes, but i dont know if ice skates allow you to wear orthotics
Oh my gosh I've played hockey almost my entire life and I'm 19, I took a break this year from hockey and my knees are giving me so much trouble these days, feel like I'm 80
@@luvuyom278 honestly, i use to have knee pain, shin splints until i went barefoot. I ordered some xero prios. Go slow into barefoot walking and running. Barefoot walk for 5 minutes one day and steadily increase based on pain
Please make an appointment to see a specialist. You are still young and might be able to fix it
Hopefully your folks can help you do everything possible to correct it, & stay vigilant. You will be much happier & in less pain when you're older. (I didn't get anything treated, so I know first hand!)
I've always had flat feet and they had never given me any trouble till this point at my age of 59. I'm now having ankle pain and Posterior Tibialis Tendonitis. My inner ankle hurts so bad and it causes my foot to pronate even more. I've been advised medial arch supports but those are giving me new pains to the point that I start limping and then take them off altogether
OMG!!! I REALLY APPRECIATE this video. my 7 year old daughter will complain that her feet hurt and will get tired of walking. I took her to her pediatrician and he said not to worry about it. Just to make sure I get her some kind of support like shoe insoles. she has flat feet.I ask him to, if we should go see a "food Dr." and he said no. But should I? can you give me any suggestion on other things that I should ask, buy or massage I can do for her feet? I would REALLY REALLY THANKYOU of you answer me.
+physicaltherapyvideo Hi,and thankyou for answering. I have buy "regular" insoles the ones they sale on pharmacies and super markets. is just that they don't seem to help.
Thankyou again☺
keep an eye on things. my flat feet started to cause problems as I got older especially with achilles tendinitis
Keep doing everything you can for your daughter. I know your comment is older, but thank you for caring & noticing. I didn't really have a clue about any of this, & in my late 30s, it all hit at once. I was a part time cane user before 40.
Great video. I gave a round of applause with my flat feet.
😂
I throw my feet out when I walk and when I try to walk with my feet straight my hips feel jammed or something
this intro is legendary
One thing that massively helped and is helping me with flat feet is Musculus tibialis anterior training. it is one muscle that hardly mentioned with flat feet issue and exercise aimed just at training base of the foot does not help the actual cause. so i strongly advise training this muscle. theres loads of videos on RUclips on how to do that. good luck!
I don't have flat feet but over pronation
My knee, upper thigh and back hurt so much
I'm studying for my exam, and your videos help a lot.
Great info for my 9 yo... super flat-footed and knee knocked.....poor little guy! BTW....Love the intro song....made me laugh
Thank you so much this helps explain what's going on with my flat feet I will definitely look for those shoes
Thanks, guys. Big question... wife has had flat feet for 30+ years. But now she has been diagnosed with hip impengement in one hip. She has hip pain in right hip almost all the time while walking. Could impengement pain be exacerbated or even caused by this? Could raising an arch be a fix? Both arches or just bad hip side? Thanks!
What about training the feet? Shoes make the foot weak and the arches fall. Running barefoot in a field, minimalist shoes, and using a Foot Gym have helped me a lot.
Flat feet, painful knees and lower back. Five years in the infantry *definitely* didn't help...
Someone please help me I do scare to get surgeries on my foot but I want to get it I’m 12 years old with flat foot. My left foot is flat but isn’t as bad my right is so bad when I wear shoes it creases. Sometime I depressed about it because a lot of people always look at it
lets say im 16 years old, and are showing tendensies to flat feet, wont the support in shoes just make it worse when barefoot and make me dependent on shoes with support to walk properly?
Im 25 I went to the podiatrist and my right arch has completely fallen. My left arch is almost to that level. I suffer from extreme sharp pains in my right hip that cause trouble moving, walking, basically anything. I have been going to the chiropractor religiously, but it just helps temporarily and the pain comes back tenfold. I dont know what to do about it anymore :(
Helpful videos but both of you should have mics because it’s hard to hear sometimes.
My MCL was very tender but got better as soon as I got shoes with a good arch support.
Love u guys
Thanks. I have flat feet and its impacting on my daily life.
Sir did u get any treatment? If yes pls let me know.
I'm 25 years old and I have extremely flat feet. I have exactly the same form that you described in this video. I'm starting to have severe lower back pain and knee pain, I can't go anywhere without dr.shols custom inserts...do you recommend surgery at this point ?
Yes. They left the option to me. Either have to use inserts for rest of my life or surgery. I just want to know if the people who took the surgery route are satisfied with their decision. The doctors told me I'm going to develop arthritis soon because of my feet and Im having lot of lower back pain and tense muscle in the growing area so I'm really considering it.
If you can solve it by wearing "inserts" for the rest of your life, then I would do that.
any update?
I have very flat wide feet and I wear proper footwear and custom made orthotics and I still have foot and knee pain. My podiatrist says I am a bad case, my foot is flat even when not standing. :(
Jossy Smith so what can you do? I’m in the same boat I wear my orthotics but still get pain in my feet and hips
Me too :(
K Michael look into procedure called hyprocure. I just got it done so I can’t say how I feel yet but I spoke to a lot of others who did and highly recommended it saying it changed their life
My grandma used to make me put my feet on buckets of Vaseline when I was younger like for hours each day. When my feet were super inflamed at school she would bring the Vaseline buckets to school and have me sit in the nurses office with them on my feet while on lunch. Some people saw me doing it and then I was called Vaseline Victor for a couple years
I have very flat feet (always have) and don't have any of these issues, fortunately. I was told by my orthopedist that I shouldn't wear flat shoes, but they are so comfortable! I try to stay away from ridiculously flat shoes (i.e. shoes I can actually feel rocks through, or the warmth of the ground with), but if I don't have any problems whatsoever with my flat feet now, could I have issues in the future?
I have flat feet and I'm in my 40s. I'm just sick of throwing out shoes because my feet look lopsided in my ballet flats. Thankfully I don't have any major issues because of my flat feet but I want my feet to look normal in a ballet flat
I have flat feet and have had 3 surgeries on my knees due to torn ligaments. Haven't had any hip problems yet though.
But i can fix it with continuous exercise with foot exercise i always wondered y i always had hip knee and foot pain for all these years

I am so worried. I have right flat foot. It looks so ugly in the mirror. It aches after a walk of almost 20 minutes and sometimes it aches even when I do not move.
I'm cursed with having Flat Wide and Large (for my size) feet that also point outwards quite alot when I stand normally so I'm definitely finding anything I can do to reduce the pain while eventually going to a foot doctor forgot what they are called but the pandemic isnt helping making the visit to one come any sooner.
Im in the same boat. Finally saw foot Dr. Putting it off caused me damage in my knees. Im in a lot of pain now. My arches cramp at night. Really painful. She told me which brand of rigid insole to get. 60 bucks. She said I have the flattest feet shes come across. I learned there are varying degrees of it from reading.
Is putting your feet inwards while walking a full feet trait or is it not necessary? I still question myself if I am full feet since my dad is. I also have serious ankle issues.
I have flat foot and a bunion on my left foot which has unbearable pain. I am getting my flat foot corrected first only on my left and hoping to see if that helps reduce the pain. But many thanks to you guys as I've always noticed pain on my knees while dancing and sometimes pain in my it band, I'm not sure if that could be related to flat feet
My right knee actually is the only one that hurts and when I don't wear my aurthotics for a couple months it starts hurting a lot and I cant walk sometimes cause it hurts so much.
my flat feet fucked me up this week and it sucks when I can't properly train my legs at the gym and might be a bit of a problem during my kickboxing class
I'm not flat footed instead my feet over supinates/anti pronates and I get lateral arch pain. Is there a suggestion would gel insoles help.
Do you have suggestions for using a roll for someone with hip trouble and frozen shoulder?
+physicaltherapyvideo Thank you. I will talk to my chiropractor. 😊
I have had a fallen arch, knock knee on my right side since childhood. Last year, I was also diagnosed with moderate hip dysplasia and end stage osteoarthritis of the hip in that side .
I will be having a hip replacement on that side in July.
How will a hip replacement affect my foot and knee? Will they hurt more?
I only wear shoes if I am outside I wear my crew socks if I am inside public places I go bare foot if it's nice out then I put my socks on when I get there. I have very painful flatfeet when I wear shoes for a longtime my feet are also flat when I walk barefoot.
My husband has incredibly flat feet. He's experiencing hip & knee pain. Poor thing. 💔😭💔
It’s gotten so bad my ankles just pound after running and I can’t feel my feet just my ankles and knees

great jobs indeed.....many doctors know nothing about this important issue
So if I have flat feet and my knees feel sore then I have arthritis? And If I buy special shoes can I reverse it? My knees just recently started to feel sore. I'm 37 years old.
Votre Ami I had knee pain in my thirties because of this. I was also very overweight . I lost 50lbs and the weight in my knees disappeared.
@@cooliocook6911 interesting! My doctor said i am of normal weight. I ended up buying some really good shoes with arch support. I also bought flip flops called oofos! They are heaven sent!

@@cooliocook6911 actually! I just realized something! You have a point regarding the weight! I was carrying a huge back pack around my University. So yeah the back packs weight and my feet caused the knee pain. You are right!
Regardless of weight, Callanetics (which came out in the 80s) & the Lotte Berk Method (from the 60s, but official videos came later) were designed to protect the back & knees. The older videos are a bit cheesy, but the important part is they work.
There are modern teachers of Callanetics, & the Berk Method (anyone approved by Lotte's daughter Esther Fairfax is good). Lotte worked with an osteopath to develop her technique, & Callan trained with Lotte. Both types are are similar, but Callanetics seems a bit gentler; it's a good place to start.
Just a tip from someone this has helped.
Well done as always guys. Your OT friend here enjoys your videos.

Do flat feet cause stress fracture?
I love your videos, it would be good if you keep the volume a bit up, and tell people which muscles are underactive and overactive.

I swear flat feet is the number one cause of osgood schlatter decease for people over the age of 21.When I was 16 I had this decease and was told it will go away when the patella has stopped growing, well today I am 23 and still struggle with this injury until l I was told that I had flat feet.I started treating it,I got costume made shoe insoles. The moment I started wearing them I felt relieved,I could jump a bit without feeling a lot of pain on my knees. Its so frustrating that I wasted my time and money with orthopedics and physios.I play rugby and do boxing in my free time,as you can imagine there is a lot of stress on my hips, knees and angles, the effects are some much worst with flat feet.

Does motion control shoes cures or just corrects when only wearing the shoes?
So, .motion control shoes
I have pretty bad flat feet... it goes all the way down, squashes on the ground and spreads :( anyone have any shoe suggestions?
im the same, im still trying to find the right shoe but if you search shoes for overpronation you may find something that fits, you will be after something with firm ankle support to stop ankle roll, a nice arch support, i think between 6-10 mil drop, a soft supportive midsole, a shoe that dosn't twist and only flexible through the toe box
I just found out that I have prolapsed arches, the bones are Messed up and the tendons aren't working right. It hurts so bad that I wake up with Charlie horses on the bottom of my feet and it runs up my my knees, and it *feels* sometimes like it goes way up my back. But that is probably those overt active nerves. I get Charlie horses in my back. It about makes me feel like crying to just talk or think about it.
Anyway I've had severe pain all these years just getting worse and worse, and I thought my foot pain was from the auto immune disease that I have. Because it blends in with the systemic pain. But I think now that it isn't... And that possibly some of my knee pain/ arthritis and even possibly hip pain/ arthritis is a result of the prolapsed arches. They hurt severely if I've lain in bed for two days, so I didn't think it was related to being on my feet.
But now I think that my poor feet have just been under this severe stress all these years and being off them a bit doesn't relieve the damage and inflammation received from when I *have* been on them.
So I'm curious now how much of my over all pain can be relieved just by fixing this one issue. And dear Lord I hope it can be fixed. If I could walk without pain... my entire life would be different.
The foot and ankle doc had ordered custom orthotics from a cast of my foot. But as severe as this pain is... I have serious doubts that an orthotic can fix it. Even when I had custom orthotics before... I still couldn't stand on my feet for any length of time. And I was in my twenties then.... literally half the age I am now. But I wish I'd had some xrays back then and I had known all this time what my foot problem was... I wouldn't have been destroying my feet thinking it was just the same thing that caused my back and arm head and leg pain.
I would have made sure that those orthotics were at the top of my list and my feet wouldn't be so bad now. Oh well... At least I found out eventually. Also, I could definitely feel my gait rotating inward. Not good. But I'm glad to a diagnoses on it finally.

i've had knee pain since the past 3 months and it developed over time playing sports. i didnt give it much thought but it came to a point where i couldn't walk without pain. an orthopedist told us it could be because of flat feet but i didn't get special shoes (i heard flat feet would get worse if you wear them regularly). so i stopped all physical activity and did exercises for strengthening the foot and now i have a much much better arch (to a point where the doctor said i didn't have severe flat feet anymore). but the knee pain has not gone at all! i can't find any other issue (neither can the docs).i am only 16 and freaked out. i would love some guidance. thank you sir.
