Doogie Howser MD began its 4 season run in 1989. Starting the Career of Neil Patrick Harris.
This show was a lot of fun at the time, and people still to this day refer to young doctors as Doogie Howsers. The question I asked my self for this reaction video is how well does Doogie Howser MD hold up to the standers of 2023!

I'm absolutely amazed that the scene where Nurse Spalding de-pants Doogie Howser was even allowed to be aired because during the 80s the campaign against inappropriate sexual interactions were at their peak..
EVERYBODY was excessively vigilant about incidents of child molestation..

The awareness between men and boys was real. The awareness between men and girls was real. The awareness between women and young men in the 80s😂

@@ryukiddin Yeah even today the awareness of women and young men is not equal. Women will always be able to get away with more weird sexual behavior, just because men have that upper hand power of forceable rape. Women really can only do statutory rape, I guess in theory a woman could force rape a man, but really not. So men have that physical and anatomical power to rape, thus women get the power to be more perverted when they want too and it's not a big deal.

Even if Doogie wasn't an underage boy, if he was a grown 25 year old man, that's still inappropriate to drop a coworker's pants. I watched this scene in 1989 when I was 13, 14, not far behind in age of Doogie and I clearly remember thinking the whole thing was weird as fuck.
