Karen's Diner Birmingham - Overhyped!

We visit Karen's Diner in Birmingham's Grand Central but is it overhyped?
SINCE THE VIDEO and thinking back and talking amongst the group: opinion changed a bit...
We went expecting a brilliant time being roasted by the staff and enjoying great food! It didn't happen!!!
We booked for 8 people at 8:15pm on a Friday. After a 10 minute wait we were shown to our table. First impressions were the woman cleaning the tables looked exhausted and wasn't acting, the diner was very busy. It took ages for someone to come to us and ask us what drinks and food we would like! The rudeness and banter we were expecting wasn't that great and were disapointed!! Some staff were much better and into it than others but all looked too busy and we weren't interacted with much. When the food came, 3 of the meals were very cold and very over salted to the point that they didn't get eaten. 1 meal was taken off the final bill. The fries are pre-salted and have some coating added to them. The burger looked no better than you can buy off a burger van. Really had high hopes for Karen's Diner and after seeing youtube videos was looking forward to it, unfortunately we all left feeling very underwhelmed. Staff run off their feet and food very cold. Overall 3/10 for food and 5.5/10 for interaction with customers.
Venue seems understaffed and relies more on reputation of banter than quality of food which is not cheap so quality and choice needs vastly improving.
I think it may be better earlier on in the day when the staff aren't so exhausted.
