And if you need a quick explanation.
Basically, before the ultimate/special move even lands on the opponent, the game already does the calculation on if the health bar will reach 0 or not. Weirdly enough, it doesn’t do that AFTER the attack lands.
So in a normal situation. You or the enemy activates their ultimate/special move. The game calculates if the health bar will reach 0, then the attack actually lands (or they vanish).
But in this case with Kefla, since it does the calculation beforehand, Kefla’s heal makes it so she doesn’t die, but the game already did the calculation before Kefla healed. So it’s already calculated “oh they’re gonna die from this attack” but didn’t take Kefla’s heal into account as she healed AFTER the ultimate/special move was activated.
So then all this happens
Doesn't that mean it should work with other characters who have healing green card?

I've actually encountered the opposite of this glitch in coop where an LF ult was used that would not have killed, then my ally hit the opponent making them in death range for health, and the regular ult was used but still killed. My guess is that the LF flag that checks enemy health value is triggered as the character uses their ultimate and not when the move itself connects.
This must’ve been changed recently or it would be talked about much more earlier
Yeah this has to be a recent change because i have hit enemies into deathrange right before an LF ULT connects for my teammate before and that has not happened for me in co-op.

It's happened to me and I've come to the conclusion that the game checks if an LF will activate as soon as the ult is "queued" to connect. In normal PvP matches the only thing that can be slipped in after this queue is activated but before the animation plays is green cards and main abilities, causing the glitch from this video(which also makes me wonder if this would work with healing mains). but in co-op anything your partner does can happen in that short window between queue and animation which means if you queue an LFing ult that wouldn't kill but your partner hits the boss so the ult does enough damage to kill, the ult will play as if it didn't.

This reminds of something that happened in co op if you try to LF the boss when their health is already at zero right after you break the defense meter and then you pop the ult the LF won’t trigger they’ll just die it’s happened to me so many tines

This is a different glitch that happened to me one time which I'm pretty sure got patched, but idk. I was playing PvP and was using Kefla (obviously) and I won the PvP match, but just as it was transitioning to the win screen, I get an amber alert on my phone, and then even though I won, the game considered it a loss. Weirdest glitch in my opinion (if it even was one)

I had this same glitch, but with LF SSB Vegeta against Goku/Vegeta, I was so nervous cause I knew I was probably gonna get reported for that lol

Also i found Another glitch, when you do an lf in raid and your buddy will land his blue card split a Second before you land the lf then your unit won't lf, it will kill but it will be just a regular ult Animation. I found that when i was doing raid boss

Hold on, GOKU AND BEGETA LF GLITCHES TOO!!! SPAM THE SWITCH INTO VEGETA/GOKU WHILE YOU ARE BEING COMBOED into an LF. It cancels the LF animation, like you see here, but switches your character after the 'LF'. And u survive
You can also do it by switching with tag team ssb vegeta and goku
