I’m glad to hear so many good reviews on this product. I just bought it and used it once and my hair feels great and it’s more affordable than olaplex 3.
my grandmothers purse always smelled like mothballs. Its true, you start to care less as you get older, you go out without makeup, wear your paint t-shirt to the store, wear flip flops with everything, etc. I think the pig collagen used is the left over pieces so its a good thing because they are gonna make other products with the pig, like food, so this helps the rest of it from being thrown away, it isnt going to waste.
@@BrittneeAlexus its like mothball and old Palmolive bar soap smell, mothballs pretty much overrides everything though and you can smell it from the driveway.
Old as I am (70), I wish I'd been born 200 years ago, lol. I have fine hair but beauticians in the past told me I have a lot of it, so thank you, Jesus. I keep the same routine I've done for years, wash my hair maybe every 3-4 days unless I get myself sweaty/filthy doing some physical chore. I keep it on the shorter side and trim it myself now. After I shampoo, I check the drain catcher in my kitchen sink and never find but a few hairs. (I hate washing my hair in the shower, lol). I've used a dab of Suave shampoo for years and alternate several different ones. I can't remember when I last needed a conditioner and quit coloring it years ago. I'm graying slowly. When I was younger, I spent a lot on products that probably made no difference whatsoever, and not just on hair products. I've washed my face with Caress or Dove soap for years and keep my makeup pretty simple. We truly don't fool anybody about our age very much, if we're honest, do we?? No wonder so many people are broke in this country these days, what with the thousands of dollars blown on things that don't matter very much, but to each her own. I'm getting more like my granny every day, and she lived to be 96 every day. Her purse smelled like cough drops, lol. Anyway, thanks for trying out this stuff for me, Brittnee, so I don't have to.

@BrittneeAlexus Do you have high cheekbones? Your cheekbones are model perfect. Sorry, I know this isn't related to your video, although I've recently joined a gym and I swim, so I bought the Dollar Tree leave in conditioning spray that's supposed to also be UV protectant and I was wondering if it also protects against chlorine? Chlorine can be so damaging and drying to the hair. The product is in a small spray bottle and it's caller, Personal Care Revitalizing Appearance 3-in-1 hair conditioner. It's a dupe of a product called Sun Bum. ❤😊
You look gorgeous for someone who doesn't care as much these days! So I say keep it up! :) THANKS for all of the fun and laughter and good info in your videos!!
Your videos are awesome! LOL. I love the Paul Mitchell Tea Tree, both my son and I have Psoriasis and it works much better that the prescription shampoo.
My grandmother’s purse always smelled like Wrigley’s double mint gum and Marlboro lights 🤣. I used to use the tea tree shampoo all the time, but my scalp over the past couple of years has just turned into a desert. I will use it though before any hair treatments (about once a month) since it pretty much strips everything out that I’ve used previously to style my hair.
Hey there! I love your videos and have gotten so many good tips from them! Per your advice, I am also using the Garnier fiber building system with amazing g results! My question is, do I use the inner fiber repair treatment every time I shampoo? Thanks in advance xxxo❤
I like the Joico K-Pak line. I don’t know what type of hair it’s for, but I have a mix of wavy/curly/straight. I’m also not sure if it’s supposed to be used daily. It smells good though, and makes my hair easier to comb through.
The hairspray is…insane on fine or thin hair that is normal to dry. You have to shower to break that stuff up completely. If you try to do your hair again without washing it, your hair looks yucky and frizzy and dull. It’s more like full on art shellac, not hairspray! Dancers and gymnasts will probably like it. But (and I put this i. A longer comment). Either use it before you wash your face, or use a face guard. It sticks to skin and STAYS! I could never brush it out well, even when I brushed a lot. I felt like it damaged my hair in the end.
I never miss an episode. Love ya so much! Got a question for you. What do you think about the shampoo bars? I'm always seeing ads about it and thinking about trying it. Have you used it? Have a great week!
I tried a bunch from Temu. My 16 yo daughter used them too. We liked them! Now the claims that those ads are making I don’t believe but, I havnt tried their bars. So 🤷🏼♀️. I’m curious about the grey hair one that says it softens and smooths the greys. I might break down and buy it one day. But the 6 different ones I bought from Temu all made our hair soft and clean feeling. They also made our hair feel like it wouldn’t need conditioner but we used conditioner anyway because we have hair that NEEDS it!
I am a TreSemme hairspray user as well. I used it for years and then they changed the formula and put WATER in it. What does water do to curly frizzy hair after you’ve spent time smoothing and straightening? Yes girl. It frizzes and curls it! Finally they got rid of the water and I can use it again. (This happened many years ago.) I also don’t mind the John Freida(?) hairspray because it protects from frizz. I have had the product you showed today for quite some time but I’ve been afraid to use it after reading some of the reviews.😳 But I guess I will give it a shot. I wish you could tell me what to do with my hair. I have gorgeous grey and silver hair. It’s down to my waist. However! It’s terribly thin! I just don’t know what to do and no one has ever been able to help me with it!😭
I use the sallys dupe of tea tree paul mitchell. And other times vo5 clarify shampoo, works great. Then i use the good stuff. Lol. Always switching it up. So would you USE the oil ? Do you like it. Or NO ? I LOVE my DT comb for shower... 😂😂❤❤❤
Happy Sunday, everyone. Yes, the older I've gotten, the more I realize I don't need to be doing too much. Simple is better. Now you won't catch me at the movies in PJ 😅 (no disrespect to anyone) Awesome review save $$$$ whenever possible 💐
I just wanted to say that reputable skincare brands (and in particular CosRX) DO NOT harm snails when collecting their mucin. I adore snail mucin skincare, but I would not support snail killing for anti-aging. I've been intrigued about this hair brand for a long time. Thanks for reviewing it. Heard good things about the Garnier line you mentioned.
Caring less is one of the best things about getting older. I’m 61 and I don’t care if people get upset bcos I’m not wearing a bra. I can’t even be bothered to wear shoes with a heel, it’s flip flops all the way. I think I may be turning into the smelly cat lady 😂
I have normal to dry, fine thin hair (just a lot of it) and I felt like this stuff (Elizavecca) weighed my hair down and just…ick. It didn’t work well for me (especially compared to the L’Oréal Everpure and Garnier). The only product I liked was a leave in…but it smelled like grape soda and hung around a long time. The hairspray will stay…and that isn’t brushing out completely. So use it the day of or before you wash your hair. I have to use a clarifying conditioner to make it feel like it’s all gone. I imagine gymnasts or dancers would like ir. Make sure to use a face shields or put makeup on after you spray it (because you’ll need to wash your face) as it sticks to skin and stays. I REALLY like the Garnier Fructis Line too (and I’m not normally a Garnier fan. I used to vehemently hate the stuff). My sister convinced me to try it, and it’s the best thing I’ve used on my hair and saved 6 inches of it after bleach from a badly done ombré (or what was supposed to be an ombré color). It, and the L’Oréal Everpure Filler/Treatment line, is a dupe for the Redken Citric Acid or even Keratase Lines (L’Oréal owns those lines and duped their own dupes before anyone else could-which is pretty genius). Those Serums are awesome! As well and the gel is good for a blow dry type cream. I mix the strengthening/filling serums with the hydrating on. I also use the hydrating shampoo and conditioner after the treatment so I get the hydration I need too (while still getting the benefit of the Citric Acid Complex). It works so well (and it smells so good…better than the L’Oréal Everpure…imo). As a teacher, it’s crazy affordable (and lasts a long time while being sulfate free). It’s really the best I can get for my budget. As for snail mucin, I’ve recently learned that when the snails it comes from aren’t healthy and happy (get upset about something or sick) they will release toxic mucin that can’t be used (I think it’s a different color too). SO…seems like they’re happy? I guess. There is also a filtration system they go through (sort of like pasteurization with milk) so it’s not like you are rubbing pure snail snot, straight from the snail, on your face. And even if I was…EH. As long as the snail is okay, why not use their mucus? They used to put whale vomit in perfumes (I’m serious!) Both are better than what they do to silk worms! It’s done great things for my combo-dry skin. I don’t know what sort of blood magic type witchcraft those little snails are practicing…but that stuff hydrates my skin , makes me glowy and younger looking and clears up adult acne (and my 13 y/o niece, with oily skin, had had her acne greatly reduced. She used the one with Niacinimide). She uses it as a nighttime moisturizer and before sunscreen. It has some sort of anti microbial peptide, apparently. When I do get a pimple it clears up super fast (and is usually smaller). They use it on burn patients to promote healing. (I don’t know if it’s the COS RX type stuff…just snail mucin in general). A few studies show it *might* help rebuild collagen (but the jury is still out). Either way, like the Oxford Comma, the proverbial they would have to pry it from my cold, dead, lifeless hands. (Yeah, I know I’m a skin care/hair care nerd. Leave me alone, y’all! I need to know about where what I’m using comes from, stuff in it, why it’s in it, ANd get the best deal. Otherwise, I get twitchy).

Thanks for the review; I’d like to try the CER-100 but not the entire system, think I’d still get any benefit on my poor thin, fire damaged hair? Wishing you a lovely week! Hi so I have a question I've been watching you for a long time I can't find Wella lumina that I can buy I need a license. Would you have a dupe for the color I'm looking for? I can give you the recipe in the next comment if you want to help me. Thanks
8:25 if we were betting on this, id have my money on cer-100 standing for ceramide-100
Your vibe reminds me of Firecracker from The Boys (but not weird).
I’m a hairdresser and use Garnier lol good stuff actually
THANK YOU FOR THIS!!! love that!
Sitting here with Olaplex 3 after highlights last week. Love your videos!❤
Self care day!!!

@@BrittneeAlexus oh what!? Thank you 😊
Great video but I will not give up my Olaplex! It’s fun to see all the alternatives though.
😂 I thought you had a short bomb haircut for a minute or two. Then I realized you had your hair back lol. Ah man youd look so good with short hair! Ive been obsessed with the A line cut. That be awesome if made a video on how to cut your own hair into an A line bob.❤
“It smells like my grandmother’s purse.” Lmfao I’m dead!! Love it 😂😂😂
You can extract animal collagent from the tendons and connective tissue, so there is no extra slaughtering needed. A lot of pharmaceutical capsules still use pig/cow collagen actually-gelatine is made from pig/cow collagen, so the use of mammal collagen is still quite popular. Subbed bc of your thorough review and your humour
Olapplex is a molecule which is not a protein treatment. It repairs the disulfide bond. This is a protein treatment. Olaplex repairs the bonds to strengthen hair cer100 coats the hair to keep it protected an fill the holes temporarily
Thank you for sharing. Do you know of a good k18 dupe?
Hiya Brittnee! I’ve always said I’ll age as *disgracefully* as possible😂! I’ve never had rules, never cared if anyone thinks I’m dressed “inappropriately” *for my age*. Oh how that one has always pissed me off😡; we’re supposed to forget personal style at 30 & be a Stepford wife? According to whom & why should any of us listen to them? It’s so freeing when you realise it’s all media created, forced upon us, do what makes you feel good & happy! Love your hairstyle! Thanks for the review; I’d like to try the CER-100 but not the entire system, think I’d still get any benefit on my poor thin, fire damaged hair? Wishing you a lovely week! Jet 🧡🎸🎶⚡️🤘🦋🏍 PS I find a wee bit of any oil (or pomade which can help with style) will help keep frizz at bay. I get it bad as I’ve got so many different lengths from the fire + being naturally white/silver you get that funky coarse (still thin🙄) texture when you lose pigment. Meh, it grows thank goodness! 😘
My hair is greying. Those funky textured pieces stick up all the time and NOTHING makes mine lay down! I have soooo much hair that I have my hairdresser thin the daylights outa it! So I pluck those kinky funky hairs right out! They are my enemy 😂 😣
@@Mrsjam96 - If I did that I’d be bald🤣! Those hairs drive me crazy even tho they’ve grown out a bit, ack!!! 😘🧡
@@RnR-Rebel they make me crazy too! Most of them won’t even behave with a flat iron. And every time I let my hair dry naturally I look like a lion! 🦁 😡
@@Mrsjam96 - It’s so crazy as I have straight hair except for the short wiry pieces. Nope, flat iron doesn’t work, 😤. Yep a lion but not in a good way🤣! 😘🧡
Personally sadly not had great results with olaplex even using the entire range go figure. Love, love, love Cer-100 collagen ceramide coating protein treatment quite a surprise best ever hair product for me.
Snail ‘miew sin’ (I hate the stuff … took me 3 months to get rid of the rash when I thought I’d just use it up on my hands 😕 … the company is pronounced ‘Coz R X’) 💕
My neighbor used the kit I gave her and she also had a rash. that stuff is weird!!
Love that you pronounced Cos-Rx "Core Sex!" Not my basically Nun-self thinking i could use some of that right about now!🤔😅
We aallll can relate to the smell of liquor cabinet, lol
Most here in US is bovine collagen
❤❤❤❤
I found their treatment at Marshals
Good to know, thanks
did you try it?
@@BrittneeAlexus no, I am a hair product shopaholic. I need to use up some bonding treatments I’ve had sitting around before I start the newer one.
Hahahahaha. You crack me up!!
what happened to the end of the video? No "something cooool" etc and no outtakes.
I ran out of eiditing time this week for the outtakes, I am so sorry!
@@BrittneeAlexus Still a great video even without them!

You're not saying" something cool"😊😊💜💜💜💜
Hey,, I’m korean…to tell the truth about pig skin collagen…. Some of them eat for food( in roasted type) ..But omg I have never ever heard about the pig skin collagen in the beauty products…especially in the ‘beauty products’???…it is not true that pig skin is a cultural thing….of korea…
thank you for this!!!
Miss the words of wisdom 😊. And something cool…
omg it's eLIza?!?! I've been saying eVza for years. XD
I have no idea, i pronounce everything wrong so i am probably not saying it right lol
@@BrittneeAlexus no i definitely think you're right. i see the "li" now!
Pothole-y skin? You mean pores? Everyone has pores.
should of said oversized pores/acne scars (which I have a lot of )
@@BrittneeAlexus my face is a map of all textures. I had clear skin until I started early menopause. My skin is ruined. Thank God they are putting me on hormones to help me not be psycho but also help with everything else. Started menopause at like 38.
@@mistytellsI started at 34 but had 1 more baby so it pushed it back and was completely done at 48! Hang in there it gets GREAT!
Does the conditioner make your hair as soft as the mask??!? Someone plzzz lmkkk
