For our first match, Reo goes up against Buffalo in the Bane/Sub Zero matchup.
Although Hellboy was the character many had requested, unfortunately Reo felt his Hellboy was a little out of practice for this set. But there's always next time of course!

PNDK&M Ok guys idk how well you guys could execute this......but I have an idea. What if you could make some way for many people to register for a ft10 set with whoever. Maybe these people aren't exactly pro level, but maybe high level casual players who are good enough to give an exciting ft10. I think that would be really cool to shine more light on more of the community. Sorry I can't think of a realistic way of doing this atm, I just thought it was a good idea and wanted to share it. Thanks guys

No problem. The fact that Buffalo is making Sub-Zero look high/god tier was satisfying for me.
For all those who are saying Reo sucks, just stop, he counterpicked himself and stuck with it because he wants to learn, he could've easily counter picked buffalo with one of his many characters and won more games

Reo isn't a bad player but I don't think Bane matches his defensive play style (should've went Darkseid, or Deadshot, or Redhood). Buffalo also has more synergy with Subzero than Ash does with Pikachu
I agree. Bane is definitely one of those nutty super aggressive characters. Reo’s style dosent fit him, but I’ll give him praise for using him against sub! It’s a worthy challenge to himself.
I think Reo just needs more time with Bane. I don't think he's an especially defensive player

Sounds like I have the same problem as Reo, forever playing different characters. Except he's actually good.

I'm glad Reo stuck with Bane throughout this set. I sure learned somethings in this matchup that would help me fight sub using Bane and I'm sure Reo did too.
I really do prefer watching non-zoning characters as opposed to Dr.fate, Green Arrow, Starfire etc. I think Sub-zero is currently High tier with the recent buffs, and Bane really isn't that bad either (great damage, great trait potential, good mixes). Aside from that, I rarely get to see this level of Sub gameplay. Most people I run into online do the same thing, which is trait, ice ball, clone throw, slide. Super predictable. Buffalo actually uses frame data and plus frames/staggers to his advantage. Most sub players online are super predictable. Anyways, where do ya'll place Bane/Sub on the tier list?

I think when Reo gets close he needs to be doing more grabs that can connect when they are blocking. He was being suprisingly safe

Gaming With Manticore feels different in injustice 2 to me. He's not quite as strong of a character as in mk

Should I get this game for Christmas? I fear it already died. MKX and Netherrealm games always die very fast. Will there still be a lot of players?
Mr Pope Yes there are a lot of players but be patient because you are going to get absolutely destroyed for 2 3 weeks straight.
if you have only played mkx, just skip it. ij2 is very different
Mkx is still alive in ps4 as for injustice 2 there should at least be a year when it comes to online ranked but you can always have fun with the multiverse

Fighter Pack 3 isnt even out yet. This game is far from dead. You can spend days on gear, getting characters level 20, and multiverse events alone.

He's not trying to prove anything. He's just learning Bane/Sub matchup. This MU situation applies to a lot of others as well considering that SZ is tough for Bane.

Man Sub Zero is just a terrible character. It bothers me that characters like Deadshot and Green Arrow have 50/50s and characters like Wonder Woman are covered in ways to make herself plus and characters like Aquaman have a low and an overhead starter. But what does Sub Zero have? Absolutely nothing. Sub Zero has no mixups. Maybe you can mix 111 and 113 in the corner with Klone out for a combo. But that's all he has. He's covered in plus frames. But midscreen, what can he do with them? So many characters have ways around the Klone it's not even funny. There are matchups he can't even compete in, and I'm here watching Grillz get a 450 damage combo in the corner off of a true 50/50 with GREEN ARROW. Like wtf is this.
Nick Chambers you can mix off a jump in either overhead hammer drop or b1 low which can both be plus with meter
Nick Chambers he’s plus off of like everything and hits like a truck. This character is not at all trash. Plus klone is an amazing neutral stopping tool, which is also an 8 frame mid reversal with no hurtbox that gives him a full meterless combo if you touch I️t

Green Arrow doesn’t have launching 50/50s and the only true one does like 10%. Maybe you should learn how to play the game instead of being a whinny bitch who thinks Grillz, subpar green arrow is even good

Sub is not a bad character AT ALL. HE is undebatble top tier
