We come to God humble in repentance of our sins, when we have sin with pride we ask God for forgiveness of our sins in the name of the Lord Jesus, and He rebukes us, corrects us, and instructs us and teaches us.
Thank you brother James for bringing detailed study of Isaiah to us. Isaiah has been my very good friend for decades. When I in sin could hear no one else, Isaiah always broke through. Note Isaiah 45:8 refers back to the words of Moses water the ground Deuteronomy 32:2-4. Let his teaching fall like rain to cause righteousness to spring up! In my studied opinion:
It is logical to think that humility is the antidote to pride.
I believe that love begets humility. And love is transferable. In that we acquire love by being given love.
So perhaps the best way to help a prideful person to become humble is to love the prideful person. If they can acknowledge that love in their own heart, it will produce humility in them.
Also, maybe more effectively, If you see pride in yourself, remember that if you apply yourself to loving, rather than trying to be humble, it will produce in you that humble, gentle spirit that you desire.

What’s the difference between constructive criticism and cyberbullying? Has someone said the same thing Dave Farina said in a way that wasn’t toxic or cyberbullying?
6-7 years ago, Dave made a video called “Origin of Life on Earth” in which Dave talks about how life originated from abiogenesis.
If Jim is as passionate about origin of life as he says he is, why not make a video then? Why is he OK with people saying life came about via abiogenesis, but the second someone makes fun of Jim, it’s not OK?
Dr. James Tour, Peter Ward was recently featured on the Brave New World podcast (available on RUclips) and he spent perhaps fifteen minutes discussing Abiogenesis and the failure of all the proposed pathways to Abiogenesis. As such he concludes that it is extremely unlikely that the Universe is populated with many planets populated by even microbial life.

In a tutorial about the Hunsdiecker reaction, Dave Farina talked about a 2012 JACS paper called “Silver-catalyzed decarboxylative chlorination of aliphatic carboxylic acids” in which some Chinese chemists carried out the Hunsdiecker reaction using tBuOCl instead of elemental chlorine and a silver catalyst instead of silver reagents.
If Jim has no problem with the science Dave talked about, doesn’t that prove Dave DOES know chemistry AND can read papers?

Why didn’t Jim reach out to Andrew and Kevin about the allegations privately? Why not invite Andrew and Kevin onto his channel to talk about the allegations civilly and air out any other grievances? Why try to convince us that Kevin and Andrew’s allegations aren’t true? It’s not like we think Kevin and Andrew are lying. And we certainly didn’t make the allegations or aid Kevin and Andrew in making them either.
Why does Jim think Kevin and Andrew are obligated to watch his videos? What if Kevin and Andrew don’t see his videos and his proof that their accusations are wrong because they’re too busy with their own affairs? What will be the point of the videos he’s made?
The Bible is not the Word of God. You have to prove God's existence, as well as the existence of His laws, first. I have proven in my argument that the Word is, "Do only that, which would be acceptable to all mankind." See top post for proof in my Community.
While Dave Farina does make fun of Jim, he also makes fun of flat Earthers, far-right political conspiracy theorists, and anti-vaxxers. Why is Jim fine with Dave making fun of flat Earthers, anti-vaxxers, and far-right political pundits, but the second Dave makes fun of Jim specifically, it’s not fine?
What a strange question. Jim said multiple times in the past that he has nothing personal against Dave. He even complimented him on his ability to communicate science in a clear manner to a large audience. Jim also invited Dave to his house for dinner. So, this is not some personal feud. Jim and Dave disagree on the specific topic of chemistry in the context of abiogenesis. Chemistry is Jim's area of expertise, not vaccinations, conspiracy theories, etc. Jim is arguing about what he knows and about the topics he has been challenged by Dave. Hope that helps.

@@ianlee5812 I believe I answered your original question. In summary - those are different topics and deserve different treatment. I am not here to defend Jim (he can defend himself), but am answering you from a common sense perspective. For example, I am a computer scientist, but I don't have a lot to say to mechanical engineers. The fact that you are grouping together a variety of different topics and placing them in the same basket really says more about you than it does about Jim.
