As a european, I feel like I should mention some things: be careful at pick-pockets, there are unfortunately some, especially in really busy touristy areas, hotel rooms usually have a safe in which you can place your valuables (carding them around with you isn't safe) and cafes usually have english menus, you just have to request them. Stay safe and have fun whenever you come back 💜💜

Ps: the unusual apple pie is called "Tarte tatin". It is in fact cooked upside down meaning the apples are placed in the bottom of the pie pan and covered with the puff pastry. Once cooked, we flip over the whole thing, and tada !
